I reached out to Kaitlyn for a consultation before we even announced our pregnancy. I had 2 previous births but this was our 1st experience with a doula. I wanted a peaceful and calm birth with our surprise baby #3. Kaitlyn is so knowledgeable and confident but also so sweet and caring. She checked in with me throughout the pregnancy and offered tips to help with all my complaints like morning sickness and aches and pains. I loved our prenatal meetings where she had my husband and I practice different labor positions and breathing, discuss goals, and talked about different comfort measures. Those were so helpful! When I went into labor, she was ready and waiting for us. She came prepared and jumped right in. She has a natural comforting presence and was able to suggest different positions and measures without being pushy or interrupting the natural flow of things. She was a blessing to my husband as well. She gave him different suggestions to support me during contractions. Toward the end when things were really intense, I have the most beautiful memories of my husband holding my hands and encouraging me bc she was doing all the hard behind-the scenes things like counter pressure and well timed reminders about controlling my breathing or relaxing my body. Because of her support, I was able to have a beautiful, peaceful water birth. I cannot imagine doing it without her and would without a doubt choose her again.

Kaitlyn was able to make my birth experience everything I wanted it to be. She made the atmosphere calm and relaxing. She had great suggestions for positions during the different stages of labor. Her calm nature and joyful spirit helped make it a great birth experience.

I wasn't able to be there for the birth—it all happened so quickly. I had just started getting our kids settled with childcare when I received the call that she had just arrived at the hospital. Less than an hour later, the baby was born, and I missed it. It was a whirlwind of emotions, but through it all, I'm eternally grateful to Kaitlyn. She stepped in as more than just a doula; she became the unwavering support my wife needed during labor. When I finally arrived at the hospital, my mind was racing. Kaitlyn was there, calm and composed, reassuring me that everything was alright. She explained what had happened, how quickly things had progressed, and stayed by my side as we awaited news from the operating room. Her presence was a lifeline during those tense moments, comforting not just my wife but also helping me navigate the rush of feelings I couldn't quite put into words. After the birth, when my wife had to undergo an emergency procedure in the operating room, Kaitlyn stayed with the baby and kept me updated. Her kindness and expertise made a world of difference. She made sure I knew that my wife was in good hands, and her reassurance helped ease the anxiety that gripped me until I was reunited with my wife. Kaitlyn's dedication and compassion made an indelible mark on our experience. She wasn't just there for the birth; she was our pillar of strength when we needed it most. We'll forever cherish her role in welcoming our baby into the world and supporting us through the unexpected turns of that day.

Kaitlyn was my savior—I honestly don't know what I would've done without her. But before I dive into her pivotal role during the birth, let me tell you what makes her so special. From the moment I met Kaitlyn, she was incredibly sweet and open, patiently answering all my questions. Despite her limited experience, her knowledge and honesty won me over completely. I was initially hesitant, but her genuine care and understanding convinced me she was the perfect doula for me. This was my first time working with a doula, and it was particularly meaningful as it was a surrogate pregnancy. Kaitlyn was not just attentive but meticulously prepared for every step. We met multiple times to discuss everything—from pain management techniques to hospital policies. She even suggested fun activities to lighten the mood during labor, like dancing to Bad Bunny! With my pregnancy considered high-risk due to IVF, doctors insisted on an early induction, but Kaitlyn stood by me in advocating for a natural birth. She researched extensively and consulted with other midwives to support my decision. Despite my plans, I ended up going past 40 weeks, reluctantly scheduling an induction. When labor unexpectedly began, Kaitlyn's support was immediate and unwavering. She guided me through each intense contraction with patience and reassurance. Despite the pain and my wavering resolve, she reminded me of my birth plan and encouraged me through to delivery. Throughout the chaotic labor, Kaitlyn was my rock, offering comfort, advice, and capturing precious moments with the baby. She stayed with me through a complication with the placenta, ensuring I felt supported both physically and emotionally. Kaitlyn's dedication and warmth turned what could have been a daunting experience into something beautiful and meaningful. I am forever grateful to her, not just as my doula but as a cherished friend who made an unforgettable impact on our journey together.

Choosing Kaitlyn to be my Doula was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy! As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions and concerns leading up to my daughters birth. Kaitlyn's calm demeanor and support helped me control my anxiety through the last few weeks of pregnancy and all the way through my postpartum stage. Highly recommend!!

Working with Kaitlyn was such a joy and calming experience! She was great at supporting me and my husband's decisions and helping us feel heard while helping us understand options and ideas for the labor!
Unfortunately, I had to go straight into a c-section after 8 hours of being induced. However, Kaitlyn had worked with me prior on expectations and staying calm when things don't go as we expect. I was able to practice breathing techniques when being taken to surgery and during the process. Kaitlyn helped me write up a birth plan and the doctors did their best to follow it even with the c-section. I still had delayed cord clamping and skin to skin right after the birth, which were both very important to me. Kaitlyn stayed at the hospital to see me after the c-section and was able to speak with me about my experience which was extremely comforting during such an unexpected turn of events. Her follow up after the birth was encouraging and she was able to answer so many questions for me regarding breastfeeding and postpartum! We loved working with Kaitlyn!

As a husband, Kaitlyn's doula services significantly improved our birth experience. Even though we were well prepared, seeing my wife go through labor was still hard and overwhelming. Despite the challenges of labor, she skillfully guided us, providing tasks that kept me engaged and present. Her support ensured every moment felt beautiful and intimate. I highly recommend her to anyone, whether considering a doula or not.

The coping tools and techniques provided by Kaitlyn were a game changer during the most painful parts of labor. I had the pleasure of having Kaitlyn as my doula for the birth of my second child. She reached out about her services and we met for a prenatal visit to learn more about having a doula there for the prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum periods since I did not have a doula for my first child. Kaitlyn is such a knowledgeable individual and is so passionate about providing both emotional and physical support to achieve the desired labor and delivery. Right away both my husband and I were comfortable with her and knew having her as a part of our birthing team would be a great idea. I am so grateful for Kaitlyn and all she did to help me prepare for the birth center delivery I wanted to have. She was wonderful every step of the way and was so supportive to not only me, but to my husband as well. Thank you so much Kaitlyn!
