I currently volunteer for Perinatal Support Washington’s warm line as peer support. I connect with people who may be struggling with their mental health in the perinatal period and we chat and work on some wellness planning as well as referrals to therapists, support groups, etc. I am hoping to get involved in advocacy work as I work with new parents. Work related to breast/chest feeding and parental rights and maternity and paternity leave. As I meet more people in the birthing community I hope to find places where my passion is needed.
I am flexible on rates and always willing to discuss things to make it work for all parties. Let chat!

Amy is a calming presence - she’s knowledgeable about all aspects of birth and postpartum, and is incredibly supportive navigating through those. I had a somewhat challenging birth and postpartum experience complete with emergency C-section, milk coming in late, and postpartum preeclampsia. She was a constant and reassuring figure for me and my family to help us through those challenges. She helped me normalize and work through my milk journey, has helped my partner and I understand our baby’s cues and patterns, and, most importantly, guided us on how to alter and reframe our kiddo’s sleeping patterns. She even did some overnights to let my partner and I get some well deserved rest. We’re 2 months postpartum now, and can happily say that we’re doing great because of her help and support.

I can’t recommend Amy highly enough! From the moment she stepped into our home, she brought a calming, reassuring presence that made a world of difference during such a transformative time. Her warmth, expertise, and genuine care helped me feel supported in every way—emotionally, physically, and mentally.
Amy has an incredible ability to anticipate needs, whether it was helping me navigate feeding, offering practical tips for soothing the baby, or simply being there to listen when I needed to talk. She not only cared for me and my babies, but also empowered me to trust my instincts and feel confident in my role as a Mama.
Working with Amy was one of the best decisions my partner and I made during my postpartum journey. I’m so grateful for her kindness, patience, and the invaluable support she provided. If you’re looking for someone to walk alongside you with compassion and expertise, Amy is the one!
