I highly recommend Charlay if you are looking for a doula who truly cares.  I am beyond happy and very grateful I chose her to walk the path of pregnancy with me.  She is the type of person that you can tell she does this work from her heart.  Her energy is so calming yet professional, and she is always thinking about what is best for the mother.  She helped me make a birth plan in case we went to the hospital (as I was planning a home birth).  My birth ended up being very long but Charlay remained present for most of the time. She even included some postpartum visits which was really nice and helpful. She made the most beautiful bath for me that I've ever had, and always offered to give me a massage. My family and I have grown to love her and now that my postpartum period is over, we will truly miss seeing her on a regular basis.  If I willl have another child I will definitely hire Charlay again.  Thank you Charlay for everything you did for me and my family, we love you! <3

I did not expect to have Charlay help during my labor, but boy am I glad I did. Originally I had another doula, but she ended up having another client that day and sent Charlay to fill in for me. From the moment we met, she was so warm and supportive. Throughout my almost two day labor, she encouraged and empowered me. At almost each contraction, she was there massaging me or holding my hand. I say almost each because my husband and mother were also helping. She is so warm and inviting, and she really cares. Two weeks postpartum she come by, even though she didn't have to anymore, to visit the baby and even gave me another one of her great massages! She helped cut the babies nails and brought us yummy drinks. I am so blessed to have had her be a part of my birth journey.

Charlay Sims was extremely caring and did a wonderful job. Because of her, we were mentally and physically prepared for the birth of our child. She gave us lots of reassurance and comforted us during all the stages of labor. Our birth experience was much smoother than most due to her efforts and advice throughout the process. We were very lucky to have found her.

Wow! Charlay made my birth experience so comforting. I knew once I met her I wanted her to be my doula to help me bring my beautiful daughter into this world. Her energy is so grounding and safe. The way she genuinely cared for me made me feel so loved and taken care of. She was very supportive and knowledgeable throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. During my labor she was very hands on and was extremely helpful- emotionally and physically! My daughter is 13 months now and she is still checking on us! I would highly recommend her to accompany you on your journey!

What an amazing advocate to have by your side! I don't know how I could have gone through such a life changing moment (like birth) without the help of my doula (Charlay) and the rest of the birth team. Incredibly blessed. Charlay checked in on me via text, phone, and FaceTime prior to birth- making sure I am eating good, actively walking, and helped with other preparations for birth like positions and emotional support with fears. She provided food, comfort, books, and herbs for postpartum. She is inquisitive, informative, and very validating.
