Lindsay was my doula for 2 babies, my daughter in 2015 and just recently my son in May 2019. It was an amazing experience having her care and guidance for each birth.  Lindsay's expertise and wisdom helped me feel empowered and supported before, during, and after birth.  Her understanding of women's bodies and the birth process is profound, and she often knew the perfect adjustment to help me make during all phases of labor.  I reflect on both births as beautiful experiences, and I'm so grateful that Lindsay helped bring my babies into this world!  I felt that Lindsay held space for me based on my needs and preferences. She is a highly skilled and lovely doula whose presence is reassuring. She honors the relationship that the woman and baby already have as they work together during labor and delivery, and works from a place of love and compassion.

We had a feeling Lindsay would be a wonderful doula and we hired her for post partum of our twin babies. We could't be happier about the experience. She is so knowledgeable and gives important advice as well as support in those delicate times for a mom and the babies. She also provided support for the dad and as a family we felt we had a strong ally in the care of our babies.

On a personal level she is kind, incredibly generous and love how respectfully take care of the babies upon our request. You can tell she is a mum herself and has been trough motherhood recently so she is really empathetic and can relate with you on a very deep level. We found just talking with her was really helpful and she also helps with everyday tasks leaving us more time to be with the babies.

I would't hesitate to hire her, it's a money you will never regret spending either as a pre or post partum doula. Five stars all the way! We look forward to hire her again for consultation visits in the upcoming future.

Lindsay was my doula for the homebirths of both of my daughters (in 2011 & 2013). Having a doula present as you make the monumental shift into motherhood - for the first, second, or even eighth time - is so incredibly comforting.

Lindsay has such a passion for what she does, and it really shows. Leading up to the birth, she helped me sort through some questions I had, and some possibilities for my visions of birth. While she never imposed her opinions, she was able to help me clarify my ideas, and helped me feel confident in my vision.

During early labour she was there to track my contractions so we knew when things were "getting real". Honestly (and this might seem funny) but I was most worried, even the second time, that I wouldn't be able to tell when to call the midwife. Having Lindsay there truly set my mind at ease, so I could be present in the experience with my body and my babies.

During the whole whirlwind of labour and afterwards, Lindsay was busy assisting the midwives, checking up on my husband (and helping him help me, too!), even taking photos as the baby arrived. She was there after to help with the tremendous clean-up, which is no small ordeal, believe me.

I called her in the days after to talk about the baby's latch, or to ask her some questions about how my body was feeling. Lindsay has a way of explaining things that is very calming - a blessed thing right after you give birth to the love(s) of your life!

If you are looking for an experienced doula, Lindsay's depth of knowledge and her passionate, yet warm soul, is just what the doctor (or midwife!) ordered.

We were lucky to have Lindsay at the birth of both of our kids as our doula. I met her during my first pregnancy as a prenatal yoga teacher and quickly it became clear she would be our best choice for doula. Her warm, reassuring demeanor and knowledge was the calming note we needed for both very different births and postpartum periods.

The first birth did not go as planned at all and she was there for both me and my husband when the induction went to c section. Her knowledge and recommendations helped me prepare and in the moment. She was there for us pp after surgery when we did not have any family close by and made the transition home a lot easier.

For the second birth we changed doctors and we were able to have a great vbac. Lindsay helped us get to the hospital in the car and was so supportive. She also took great photos! Without the photos I almost wouldn’t believe it went so well.

She is someone I consider to be a friend and a part of my kid’s lives.

Our experience with Lindsay as our doula for our first baby has been perfect from start to finish.

From the first visit, she has shown care, transparency, the right amount of emotion versus rational attitude and has helped relieve fear, anticipation and doubts facing this major moment of our life. On top of being extremely knowledgeable about pregnancy, birthing and childcare, she is also an excellent prenatal yoga instructor which is key to the weeks leading to the delivery and supportive around the due date. She was always available when needed and exceeded our expectations in regularly taking news of Mom and of baby post-delivery.

She provided profuse advice regarding all sorts of queries we had and some she would anticipate we would have. During the delivery she knew perfectly when to interfere and speak up and when to give us privacy accordingly. She made us more aware of our rights as delivery and maternity patients and reminded us of our convictions and our wishes for an ideal birth. She had more than dozens of tricks in her doula bag. She is full of helpful resources and having her by our side made the birth and everything around it a much more pleasant, fulfilling and successful experience.

We further definitely recommend her and would ourselves call her back for a second child. We were so happy to have her along the way and would not have had it any different.
