I absolutely loved having Sophie as my doula. She is amazing! She was always quick to answer any questions I had before and after baby came. We met multiple times before labor to talk about all the ins and outs. I really wasn’t sure what I wanted my birth plan to look like or where to even begin, but she was so helpful. We came up with a great plan that was flexible and perfect for me. I felt so comfortable and confident going into labor! I really had the best team helping me. Day of, I was feeling so done after having contractions all day and still only at a 4. Once Sophie got there she turned the lights down, got out candles, music, oils, gave position suggestions, etc. (all part of my plan) I felt so rejuvenated and ready to keep going! She stayed calm and genuinely confident in me the entire time which helped me so much. I also thought my husband was doing a good job with counter pressure, but once Sophie started doing it I realized my husband was actually not doing anything. She can do it all! She was especially helpful when my husband started getting queezy. I highly recommend her to anyone! She’s the best.
