We had a great experience working with Ellie for my second birth. Once I got pregnant the second time, I knew I wanted to use a doula because my first birth didn't go as I had hoped, and I was disappointed in some aspects of my labor and delivery. Ellie was great to work with! Right away she worked to understand my hopes for the next birth and the entire process of working with her she helped to prepare me in the ways I was lacking the first time around. I am proud of how my second labor and delivery went and having her support greatly helped my husband to feel more comfortable being my support person because Ellie supported him, too. Her postpartum help was AMAZING while parenting a newborn and a toddler, especially once our family was no longer around to help. She is flexible and worked with our schedule well to make sure we could utilize her when it worked for us. She even drove an hour to get to us for every appointment and our birth. Ellie was extremely professional to work with and we trusted her knowledge immensely. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to family and friends as well.

Hiring Eliana was one of the best decisions I made for myself, my husband, and our baby. She made me feel comfortable and heard throughout the entire process, and I am forever grateful for her guidance and support.

I was thinking about hiring a doula for my first pregnancy and took a chance on Eli. She was very flexible with scheduling a virtual consultation, and I could immediately tell that she was calm, kind, intelligent, and proactive. Exactly what I needed. She was highly responsive and we quickly scheduled our two prenatal visits.

Eli helped me create and feel confident in my birth plan. She recommended classes, books, and resources that prepared me for birth. She led my husband and I through a personalized, hands-on labor prep session that was immensely helpful because I ended up going into labor early (the next day!). Her tips allowed me to deliver exactly the way I want to. She showed my husband how to apply counter-pressure and massage, which he used all throughout the process. Although I lived an hour away, she was very available to me, and she made it to the hospital with plenty of time. I learned a lot from Eli, and her advice completely changed my postpartum experience (which had not been going so well).

With my first birth being traumatic, I wanted something different. After doing a ton of research, I wanted this birth to be as intervention free/unmedicated as possible in a hospital setting. Upon meeting Eliana, it was clear she is passionate about birth. Even though I had done much research, Eliana was still able to educate me on numerous areas. Anytime I had a question, she would let me know the research and always supported me no matter what I decided. I felt heard. I felt seen. I felt empowered. I was able to go into birth without fear. In regards to my birth experience, it was better than I could have hoped. Eli MADE my birth experience great. She arrived at the hospital within minutes of us and immediately started helping. Though we had discussed positions and pain techniques prior, in the thick of it- I totally blanked. She was there to guide me and support me in the most beneficial way. I didn’t have to think about anything or ask- she was a natural guide. Once we got to our room, she immediately asked for tools from the nurses to help. Again, something neither my husband or I would have thought to do. She was active the whole time, whether it being counter pressure, ensuring I was getting fluids, helping change positions, and emotional support to name a few. I was able to have my birth with no epidural or IV pain meds! I used nitrous oxide and Eli’s counter pressure as comfort measures. I couldn’t have had it any better. Even after delivery, Eli has continued to be such a blessing. In the hospital she helped with breastfeeding and helped us get settled. The postpartum support has equally been incredible. My husband and I both agree that having Eliana was the best decision we could have ever made going through this birth experience. No monetary amount can be put on the value we received in this experience. I will without a doubt have her at my next birth. Eliana is such a blessing, and we cannot express how thankful we are for her!

I cannot express how thankful I am we hired Eliana to be our doula for my birth. It was my second & I really desired for my birth to be different than my first experience. I wanted as non medicated as possible but still chose to deliver in a hospital & she totally helped make that possible! From our prenatal visits & learning techniques to helping during labor at my house I felt as prepared as possible. She was so supportive during active labor and really help me work through my contractions. When we got to the hospital she helped my husband deal with the nurses & I was so focused on resting & relaxing & it was all because I knew between the two of them they handled all the questions from the nurses & stepped in with my husband to help make my desires clear so I could relax. She was a huge support for him during that time as well so he could focus on helping me & he also is so thankful. We also meal prepped a couple times, texted a bunch, helped postpartum & she just went above & beyond overall! I really got the birth that I desired and am so very thankful! Eliana litterally feels like part of our family now. How could she not after you experience such life changes together? Very thankful & will def use her again for the future!!
