We have had the great pleasure of working with Berkley during our postpartum experience with twins. From our initial meeting, Berkley was warm and compassionate to our feelings and fears about bringing twins into the world. She listened compassionately and offered her own personal wisdom with twins, along with sound and reassuring advice to encourage us towards a more positive outlook. During postpartum, she gave us the gift of sleep, warm and nourishing food and a clean and peaceful home. She was reliable, knowledgeable, reassuring, never judgmental, always encouraging and she always arrived to our home with an excited and happy smile on her face. It has been such a pleasure working with Berkley and we are so grateful for her and the positive experience we have experienced postpartum because of her. Would absolutely recommend her to any family seeking postpartum or doula support. She is so easy to work and communicate with and she loves and cares for your children like you would. Berkley provided excellent daytime and overnight childcare for our child on three occasions, at age 7 weeks, 8 weeks, and 11 months old. Berkley is extremely professional, trustworthy, organized, and thoughtful in her approach. During our introductory call and efficient handover on the day-of, she asked the most pertinent questions that clearly demostrated her experience. She was always warm, gentle, patient, and creative with our child, who loved spending time with her. She was also confident in managing acute first aid or allergic reaction situations, which thankfully did not occur at least in part due to her ability to anticipate and prevent unnecessary risk. She is excellent. We would highly recommend Berkley, as a top quality child care professional and postpartum doula.

Berkley was hired to support my husband and I postpartum while we learned how to tend to our newborn son. She attended the birth and was fabulous support and a pillar of strength during the toughest points. In our home, she helped me cope with the long nights and early mornings, providing gentle guidance for feedings and learning how to breastfeed. She ensured I had access to pre-vetted experts like lactation consultants and massage therapists for my journey. Berkley prepared meals and cleaned/sanitized all the necessary items for me to feed my son. She’s an also a fabulous baker and made the most addicting lactation brownies ever. She was my nighttime companion, calming my nerves and giving me needed non-judgemental perspective and context when I truly needed it. Thank you Berkley for supporting my family and being a true friend.
