Having Amanda as our birthing doula was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. Amanda was an amazing support not only during labor, but the weeks leading up and the weeks after I gave birth. My labor was not at all what I expected and having Amanda there to explain, relax and support me made the experience a positive one. During labor, Amanda answered all my questions and guided me through every step. She was also a great resource to my husband and a great addition to our labor team. Amanda offered support after my baby was born by calling in to check on me post partum, especially when I was having post partum anxiety. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have had Amanda by my side. I highly recommend Amanda as a birthing doula!

As a mother of three children I knew what my daughter was going to experience giving birth for the first time. Although she and her husband wanted my support during labor, I felt that we needed someone with professional knowledge and experience, someone who knows her ways in labor rooms and their protocols but also who could guide, encourage and soothe her along the process. After some research - well, it was a lot - we found Amanda. She started her follow ups weeks before the due date and still keeps in touch weeks after Damian was born. She was there for my daughter, her husband and even me, when things got a little complicated. Her charisma helped us blend with the medical team. Her strength, knowledge and confidence validated that we made the right choice. If there is a chance at another life, I hope she will be the captain of our team.

Amanda went above and beyond to help Brandon and I navigate the birth of our daughter. Any question we had, she answered and instantly put us at ease. Even after birth, she supported us and gave us tips and tricks to care for our newborn. 

We worked together to create a flexible birth plan. Amanda really listened to my wants and needs. She offered options to have a natural as possible birth while balancing my fear of needles. When I got to the point that I needed an epidural to manage the pain, I didn't feel judged for deviating from the plan. Amanda just helped us along. 

As a first time parents, having Amanda with us was essential. Her knowledge and empathy minimized all the anxiety I was feeling about giving birth. I was fortunate to have her as an advocate throughout my labor. 

She really is the best!

Amanda was awesome and we absolutely loved working with her. She helped me in so many ways mentally preparing and stretching leading up to birth and then with breathing and physically during the pushing. She was a great advocate and trusted partner during my birth journey. She’s very positive and is the type of person you feel like you’ve known your entire life even after just meeting her. She is the best. We are so thankful we got to work with her.
