Grace is an amazing doula. I hired her when I first found out I was pregnant with my 2nd baby, and she supported me throughout the pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I loved our prenatal meetings together, as her energy is inspiring and grounding. Grace provided me with ample resources to manage the challenges of pregnancy, prepare for birth, recover postpartum, and help with baby. She has a great sense of humor and is easy to feel comfortable with, which is so important for such a vulnerable time. Grace is full of knowledge and experience regarding nutrition, body work, natural and holistic health, and handling all the ins and outs of new motherhood. I felt very safe and cared for with Grace on my team. I highly recommend Grace as a doula to make the transition to parenthood (whether it be the first or repeat time) that much more smooth and enjoyable. Any family would be lucky to have Grace as their doula!

Words cannot express how much of a God send Grace was for my husband and I during the pregnancy and birth of our second son. She helped us to stand strong for my birth wishes with our provider and equipped us with knowledge to give them reason for my decisions. I had an emergency C-section with my first and I wanted to VBAC with this pregnancy and the cards were not in my favor with my OBs. I had been diagnosed with GDM and also "high risk" from my last pregnancy. Grace and I did so much research and were able to combat against the "norms" of hospital birth and I was able to successfully VBAC. Her knowledge on GDM and our willingness to go "against" what the OBs without being disrespectful to them. Her birth support during labor was also so impactful on my birth story. Just having another person in the room being able to pray over us and give us guidance and support helped me feel strong and confident in my birthing ability. She also turned my early labor into active labor with her amazing knowledge of spinning babies. I had pleateaued in my contractions and she did a few maneuvers on me and baby that I know sent us into active labor and progressed me enough to get labor going. I feel like I gained a lifetime friend with Grace.

After a terrible doula experience with my first birth I was hesitant on hiring a doula at all for my second, but when I met with Grace we immediately clicked and I knew she was meant to be a part of my birth journey. She was so supportive leading up to my delivery, always checking in when we were getting close and even added in an extra meeting to help me release some fears that started to creep in. On the day of delivery, she came to the hospital when I was getting admitted and thank goodness she did, because it was a LOT! She was present for all major discussions with the doctors and it was so nice to get her opinion on their suggestion . She kept reminding me of my goals and was so very supportive when things started to take a turn. Without her, I for sure would have forgotten things I had wanted in delivery with everything going on.

Even though my birth didn't go as planned, she made a huge impact making it such a positive experience. It has made such a difference on my postpartum journey as well. Grace has such a positive, reassuring energy and I am truly so grateful to have had her along for the ride. Do not hesitate to meet with Grace, you will not be disappointed!!
