Jessica was incredible throughout our birth journey, from before baby came to visiting us at home after baby arrived. She has quite a lot of experience and expertise to share, which made me feel safe and supported. I am a first time mom, so birth and labor was a big unknown, and it was a huge help to have someone by your side who not only knew what to do and how to support you but also provided support to my husband (first time dad). We are so grateful to Jessica for supporting us and helping to bring our beautiful daughter into the world on our terms! Thank you, Jessica! You're amazing!

Having Jessica as our doula has been an amazing experience! From the very first meeting, she demonstrated genuine care for me and my baby and made me feel appreciated and empowered. Jessica supported my wish for an unmedicated natural birth, believing in me every step of the way. I’m incredibly happy with the outcome and grateful to have had her by my side, not just for me but for my husband and mom. Her passion for her work shines through, and her sweet, calm demeanor made all the difference. Jessica will always hold a special place in our hearts. Highly recommend!

Our experience with Jessica was amazing. Her & I share a lot of the same beliefs when it comes to birth which was great but she is the type of person to support whatever you want regardless of her personal beliefs. She has the perfect balance of being fun and lighthearted, making birth less scary, while also taking her job of supporting you extremely seriously, respecting the sacredness of birth. On top of all that she took the most amazing photos of our little one and the whole birth is documented for us to look back on and someday share with our daughter. She did a great job directing my partner on how he could be supportive throughout the process, which he & I both appreciated. I loved having her at our birth and as a resource through my pregnancy. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Hiring Jessica as our doula to ease the process of this pregnancy was one of the best decisions we made. I could not recommend working with her more than I do.
As first time parents embarking on this extremely exciting yet scary adventure, having a person on our side with as much experience and knowledge as Jessica proved to help alleviate so many of the potential stressors of the unknown. Her ability to emotionally support, educate, and empower us in our journey to parenthood provided a sense of security that helped alleviate so much of the stress and anxiety of this pregnancy while culminating in the perfect delivery experience of our beautiful daughter!
We are so lucky to have been able to work with Jessica leading up to and after the birth of our daughter. She was one of the greatest resources we were able to lean on during this typically stressful and scary time.
Help yourself have the experience you envision and work with Jessica!

My experience with Jessica was absolutely incredible. From our initial meeting, Jessica exudes warmth, professionalism, and a deep knowledge of childbirth. She provided invaluable emotional support and guidance throughout my pregnancy and during labor. Her calming presence and expertise truly made a difference in how I managed pain and stress during labor.
She captured every significant moment beautifully, without ever being intrusive. Their photographs are not just pictures but cherished memories that I will treasure forever
If you’re looking for a birth doula and photographer who will enhance your birth experience and provide you with stunning photographs to cherish forever, look no further!

In taking our birthing class at the hospital my wife and I learned the many health outcome benefits for both Mom and Baby that come with working with a Doula - and there are many! While that was plenty convincing I also left the class feeling overwhelmed with the many breathing, positioning, and pain management techiniques we learned. In the midst of labor I wanted to help and encourage my wife but didn't want to spend labor and birth trying to recall everything from the class. I wanted to be present in the experience, not in my head trying to think of what position or breathing technique to try next while panicking because my wife is miserable. Hiring a doula seemed like such a great way to have someone experienced there in the room so I could enjoy the birth, and not feeling like her pain and discomfort were 100% my responsibility to help manage.
My wife and I both clicked immediately with Jessica. She was warm, funny, and clearly passionate and experinced with the entire process. She listened to our vision of what we wanted labor/birth to look like and tailored her approach to meet our needs. She was always available and super responsive and and made it easy for us to trust the process and listen to and follow her expert guidance and tips. Our birth experience was everything we hoped it would be and I know for certain all the advice, guidance, and preparation Jessica gave us played a huge role in that. Certainly, we had to do our part - we did the exercises, followed her dietary advice, etc. but hearing the birth experiences of so many of our friends who recently gave birth and did not use a doula, I have no doubt we made the right choice. Now that we're on the other side we have a happy and healthy mom and baby and a birth story that is a fond memory. We're so happy we got to work with Jessica and love that she'll forever be part of that memory.

I am so beyond grateful to have had Jessica as our doula for the birth of our first child. From our first meeting, she made me feel cared for, comfortable, and validated by deeply listening to my hopes and dreams for having an unmedicated labor and delivery. Her expert knowledge and incorporation of evidence-based practices felt extremely reassuring as my husband and I navigated all the new information and choices we had to make, with Jessica providing unconditional support every step of the way. As someone who tends towards anxious thoughts, Jessica helped me address my fears and encouraged me to develop affirmations that grounded me through my labor and ultimately helped me have the incredible, empowering birth experience I had dreamed of. One of my favorite parts about working with Jessica was how she encouraged my husband throughout the process, especially during labor itself, so that he felt prepared to support me during those challenging moments. The most incredible surprise of all was the beautiful photos she took during my labor and our son’s birth! They truly capture the most special, loving, and vulnerable moments of this life-changing experience and we’ll treasure them forever. Hiring Jessica was hands down the best decision we made in our pregnancy journey and I’d recommend her to anyone looking to have an unwavering, positive, grounding, and informed doula on their birth team.

We were originally on the fence about hiring a doula, but ultimately decided to do it after seeing the positive stats associated with births with a doula and when my husband decided that he could use the support during labor and delivery. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders knowing we had a the guidance and support of a doula so we could just focus on getting ready to become parents. We instantly clicked with Jessica and having her as part of our team was the best decision we made. We both felt so well equipped with information and endless support and guidance leading up to our birth, during birth, and after because of Jessica. I felt like I was able to prepare my mind and body so well, which ultimately lead to a very empowering birth experience. Jessica was not only our advocate, but also brought such fun, positive energy to every step. Because of her, my perception of labor and delivery changed from "something to get through" to a truly empowering life event that I look back on fondly.

From the very beginning of meeting Jessica, it was evident that she has a huge heart for her clients and truly pours herself into her work. She goes above and beyond in every aspect, ensuring that her clients feel supported, informed, and empowered.
Her extensive knowledge about spinning babies, the human body, and the pelvis is remarkable. Her wisdom and expertise are invaluable to throughout pregnancy and birth and postpartum.
Jessica embraces the village approach, creating a supportive and nurturing environment for the whole family unit. She educates on baby wearing and safe bed sharing and helps husbands feel involved. Additionally, she makes delightful homemade bone broth, rich in collagen, to aid in postpartum recovery. Her care and thoughtfulness in these gestures are touching.

Being our first child and having no family members who I would have been comfortable with having with me during labor and delivery, I wanted a doula to help me prepare for and support me during the event of bringing my child into this world. Jessica did a great job filling this role.
I believe a doula would be helpful for anyone, even during the best case/easiest scenarios. However, I would sugggest that having a seasoned doula is especially even more helpful during the more stressful scenarios.
I had no complications or noted significant risks during my entire pregnancy. However, during a much longer than anticipated L&D, some unexpected and simply unpreventable difficulty came up. Jessica was very helpful in helping me be more prepared beforehand than I otherwise would have been, supporting me and my husband, helping with methods to handle and get through some physical and mental stressors and strategies to keep labor progressing, and was knowledgeable and useful to bounce my thoughts off of while empowering me to figure out my own choices when things stopped going according to my original plan.
If it was only my husband and I alone during this time, I think it would have been a whole lot harder/more overwhelming for us to process and figure out some things during childbirth. Jessica brought some healthy breaths of positivity and hope, information, focus, and logic that we both benefited from.
I do now have a happy healthy baby. Jessica played a useful part in helping my navigate my own birth experience leading up to this, and she was even helpful for my husband to not feel alone and overwhelmed in being my only support during the most intense parts of my childbirth. Thanks Jessica!

My wife and I had a very healthy pregnancy, a solid plan, we did a ton of research as well as exercising and diet changes. Jessica was the most important piece of the puzzle, because when our plan fell apart, I didn't know what to do. Having Jessica there to explain our options after 3 exhausting days of labor, when I not only didn't know what to do, but also had no experiences to go on, was possibly literally lifesaving. She was professional and overall amazing the whole time.

Jessica Meeds was an incredible doula. She is very passionate about and dedicated to her job. We hired her for the birth of our first child. She made it such a wonderful experience for my wife and I. It was great to have an experienced person like Jessica totally dedicated to making my wife feel comfortable and cared for. As a husband, I did my best, but there's only so much I can do. Jessica made us feel so empowered and supported. She was such a great coach from beginning to end. We had a 36 hour labor and she stayed with us the entire time! She was such a positive and calming presence the entire team. We definitely plan to use Jessica for our future births! We love Jessica!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better doula! We are so grateful for our birth experience with Jessica and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a hands-on, supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable doula. She is very resourceful and had lots of snacks, pain management support, etc which made it so much less stressful for us. Having a shared Christian faith made our experience with Jessica even more unique and special- a huge answer to our prayers!

Jessica is everything you could hope for in a doula. She is thoughtful, kind, genuine, organized, experienced, and professional. With her guidance I had an excellent birth experience, and I would not hesitate to engage her again.
What you can expect: Jessica will come prepared! She has excellent materials that she has developed, including thought-provoking questionnaires that will help prepare you mentally for delivery and the fourth trimester. She will meet twice with you before the birth and once again postpartum. It was very helpful to us to be more educated about childbirth, and it was especially great to have my husband included in the conversation for him to be more informed on what things he could do to help the process. She has great advice on nutrition, exercise routines, and anything else you could possibly think to ask about. Her expertise is invaluable. She is happy to share her own opinions if prompted, yet she is also genuinely supportive of the parents’ decisions and desires - whatever your birth preferences may be, Jessica will be there to assist and advocate for those things.
During labor and delivery: Jessica is an exceptional doula. The number one reason why I recommend her is her thorough knowledge of what positions and exercises would help move the labor along. She encouraged me to work through the pain in a kind but firm manner, and I personally believe she was instrumental in reducing the amount of time I spent in labor and delivery. She helped guide my husband in assisting me, was in constant communication with us during early labor, and came to our house to help during the more strenuous parts before our departure to the hospital. She was equipped with all sorts of helpful tools - essential oils, stress balls, even little LED candles for the delivery room. These thoughtful gestures went above and beyond due care. Jessica is, simply put, a great person and a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Jessica!

I found Jessica from a Christian Hynobirthing website and app that I chose to use for birth. This was my 4th child and I had never used a doula or anything and I ended up experiencing my dream birth and it was wonderful. Leading up to it I felt so confident because I had a support person/friend in Jessica. I didn't know what to expect hiring a double and she ended up being the person I talked to constantly about any fear, question or funny thoughts that would arise my whole pregnancy. She was like my personal hype girl all pregnancy and also during and after labor and delivery. She truly cared about me and my whole family. My husband trusted her and liked her and so did my kids. We met because she was my doula and I think I got a new friend out of it too;) If you're on the fence about hiring her, just do it. I'm very thankful I did!

We decided to find a doula because I had a lot of fear going into labor. When we found Jessica, right away we were drawn by her empathy and her ability to cut through a sea of information for us. As I practiced the exercises she recommended and learned more about what to expect during labor, I felt more at peace and confident as my due date approaches. But of course my baby decided to do anything but how we planned it to be. My labor ended up long, and Jessica, having just helped with another birth hours before, still showed up fully for me. She soothed me through each contraction. When the baby wasn't progressing much, she helped me in different birthing positions--some very humbling and demanded a lot of physical help. Jessica also worked well with the nurses to help progress the labor. In the end, though my labor was difficult (without complications), I had no fear in the process because I knew I was well cared for. I'm grateful to have worked with someone like Jessica who is highly attentive with a lot of birth experience. Now postpartum, I also know she's someone I can lean on when I just need a mama's support.

Jessica was truly a Godsend for our family. My husband and I are first time parents and originally had planned to skip hiring a doula for financial reasons. We later changed our minds, and wow I am so glad we did. Jessica was a calm, guiding voice amidst the unknowns of childbirth. She helped us to feel prepared, confident and at ease. I desired a drug free birth, and she helped me achieve that. She was our advocate and helped us keep the birth experience in line with our desires when hospital staff pushed for something different. And most importantly, she kept Christ at the center of this incredible opportunity we get to partner in creation with him. She turned the hospital labor & delivery room into a sanctuary where I felt calm and safe. We have absolutely zero regrets and recommend Jessica without hesitation to any parents, regardless of what type of birth they desire.

Jessica was a literal Godsend before, during, and after my 24 hour labor without an epidural. Anytime I felt like giving up during labor she was there to encourage me and tell me how well I was doing. She offered different techniques and positions, snacks, and music during my labor. She even helped hold my right leg suspended in the air while I was pushing and I'm pretty sure I may have kicked her in the face on accident but she didn't even mention it once. Lol. Afterwards, she checked in and still offers her support and guidance to this day during my windy postpartum journey. Words cannot express my unending gratitude for Jessica, but I would recommend her to anyone a thousand times over. We love Jessica and you will too!

I cannot recommend Jessica enough! She made my VBAC dreams come true. My first pregnancy ended with a traumatic unplanned C-section due to baby being in ‘sunny side’ position and after 3 hours of pushing not descending through my pelvis. Postpartum recovery was rough both mentally and physically. It was my dream to have a VBAC with my next pregnancy but I still had a lot of fear from my first labor experience. From the start of our relationship, Jessica heard me when I told her my fears about having a poorly positioned baby. She was great at helping me create a simple and clear birth plan that highlighted my values. The weeks leading up to my due date, Jessica made a point to check in with me and give me exercises to help get baby in the optimal position. My due date came and went and eventually I scheduled an induction at 41 weeks. Induction was not part of my plan but I felt confident knowing that I had Jessica there to support me. When Jessica arrived to our delivery room she got to setting up the ambience with lights and powerful words of encouragement. She guided me in exercises all focused on baby positioning. When labor started to pick up, she was there pushing on my back and reminding me to breathe and stay loose. I had a moment during labor when the pain brought back memories from my previous labor that I thought I was better off with a C-section . Jessica was there to listen and remind me of my strength. I continued to labor with an epidural and she continued supporting me by working with the labor nurses on my positioning. She was by my side with energy and excitement as I started pushing. I couldn’t believe it when I could feel the head of my baby crowning. Jessica filmed my birth and captured the moments beautifully. I am so grateful for her love and care.

Jessica, we cannot thank you enough for stepping into the Doula role so quickly and supporting us both through such an amazing birth experience. Especially the moment when my wife‘s past birth trauma came up unexpectedly, and you so lovingly coached us both through that to then feel more empowered and ready to welcome our baby in the way she wanted to. This birth was a dream come true for my wife and I and we have you to endlessly think – your calm energy, guidance, and warmth is a gift. Much love, The Ellensons.

From the start of our second pregnancy journey, Jessica's influence was transformative. As a husband, I watched my wife's previous uncertainties from our first pregnancy dissolve. That earlier experience had been marked by a lack of guidance, leading to choices we hadn't initially envisioned, like an induced and medicated birth.
Jessica's approach was distinctly different. Her dedication to her craft, evident through her continuous research and up-to-date knowledge, offered us a wealth of insights and techniques. What stood out was her innate ability to reassure and empower my wife, helping her rediscover the inherent strength every woman possesses during this profound journey.
With Jessica by our side, the contrast was palpable. Our second pregnancy was a celebration of natural processes and informed decisions. The culmination in a timely, unmedicated birth was testament to Jessica's invaluable support and expertise. As a grateful husband, I can't emphasize enough the positive impact she's had on our family's experience.

Working with Jessica from the start of my second pregnancy to finish, made all the difference in the world!! It was such a wonderful experience and so very different from my first pregnancy! She is truly something so very special… and I believe was born and called by god to help, support and guide women like myself through this transformational time of pregnancy, labor and birth.
I came out of my first pregnancy feeling very defeated for having to be induced and medicated.. and looking back very uneasy over the care I received. There was no guidance at all from the drs and nurses throughout my whole pregnancy on the actual birth/labor process and then when it came time to deliver I was scared, nervous and had no idea what to expect. Attempting to go in with no information on what my body was capable of, zero preparation for labor and ultimately birth, was a recipe for induction and epidural. Two things I did not want.
Working with Jessica opened my eyes to the amazing ability of my body and what I was truly born to do as a woman. She helped me through every insecurity I had and all the worries and fear that can inevitable pop up throughout this 9 month journey. I felt seen and supported. Unlike my first pregnancy, Jessica was there every step of the way with me and my husband. Providing us with information and techniques from her vast experience and studies, to best prepare ourselves for the big day. She also shared videos and content from her continued research and personal development in her craft. It’s just incredible how up to date she stays on the topic of pregnancy and birth.
I could go on and on about how wonderful she is, but most importantly I will say that my second pregnancy which ended in on-time spontaneous labor and an unmedicated vaginal birth was nothing short of AMAZING and ALL because of Jessica’s support, love and care!
