Juliet was a dream to work with. She was exceptionally kind, compassionate, patient, accommodating, skilled, knowledgeable, and quick to reply. She was always available for questions and gave me confidence and information to advocate for myself during labour. When labour went sideways, she went above and beyond, staying longer and providing more support than anyone imagined would be the case. I can’t recommend Juliet highly enough!

Juliet and I worked together as volunteer doulas with Birthing Families Foundation, and in back up arrangements for private clients several times over the last year. I have found her to be a collaborative, kind, attentive & knowledgeable birth doula! As a back up doula, Juliet is very reliable, connecting routinely with the primary doula throughout the on-call period, and communicating proactively to ensure they are up to speed on the client's needs, values & preferences.

Juliet has also been an invaluable member of the Abortion Support Collective, providing much needed support as our grassroots mutual aid project grew over its first year. 

I highly recommend Juliet to perinatal & reproductive care clients and to fellow doulas! Wishing Juliet all the best as their practice moves to Toronto!

My experience with Juliet was really amazing. We have met when I was on 28th week of pregnancy. I share why I recommend this person in several points: 

1. Mental support and care from day 1. My family and financial situation was tough. From day 1 Juliet started looking for the items I needed. She brought baby items, items for myself. She tried to cover all my needs whenever possible. 
2. Knowledge about pregnancy and postpartum period. 
Juliet provided me with the knowledge about what should be expected during last weeks of pregnancy, how to induce labor, what to expect during the labor. She answered all my questions. 
3. Pain relief techniques. 
During my labor Juliet helped me to cope with pain so well. She gave me massage, took walks with me, talked to me all the time, practiced breathing techniques with me. I was happy to have this person around.
4. Care about yourr comfort during labor. Juliet took care of me every minute while I was in the hospital: helping with taking a shower, putting on relaxing music, taking care if I was not cold, if I felt comfortable. 
5. Careful planning your labor. 
Juliet made a detailed list of my wishes during labor. She put down everything I wanted and did that during labor. She was so prepared. 
Juliet spent with me around 24 h in the hospital. She is definitely a top professional and a very caring person. My experience with her was just great! I sincerely recommend Juliet if you want to have an unforgettable experience with a doula.

I found Juliet to be an exceptional doula during all steps of the birth process. She met with me twice before my delivery date and was able to make me feel more at ease about my upcoming c-section and new motherhood journey. I found that she was very approachable and flexible, and was open to answering as many questions as I needed to ask.

On my delivery day, she arrived with plenty of time before my scheduled c-section and was very supportive during the somewhat anxious period when my c-section was delayed until later in the day. During my daughter's delivery, she provided consistent reassurance and support, ensured that appropriate music was played and took wonderful photos of the whole process which I will treasure forever. After my daughter's delivery, she continued to stay by my side and offer support until my family support people arrived and took over. She was extremely attentive and took swift action to solve unexpected problems, such as finding a basin (which was unfortunately missing from the room) when I started to vomit post-surgery.

During the postpartum period, Juliet continued to provide exceptional support during her visits by caring for my daughter, assisting with cleaning, shopping and other household tasks and offering a listening ear. She also prepared a couple of excellent meals for me. 

I would highly recommend Juliet as a doula and I wish her all the very best as she moves forward in her career.
