This woman was my savior!
Cheylah came in and saved the day when I needed her most and I will forever be grateful for that. I would say from the moment we met but even before that she was attentive, caring and comforting. I felt at ease in her presence, I was heard and respected! That might feel like it should be a given when it comes to bringing in a doula but trust me it is not. Cheylah is the epitome of what a doula should be! Supportive, attentive, knowledgeable, calm, observant, passionate about her calling and a pleasure to be around. She always made sure to affirm the fact that I could give birth to my child and helped me feel confident about that leading to and during my labor. I know for a fact I would not have been able to stay as calm without her.
Cheylah will always be a part of my family and I am proud of that.
