I like Terese from our first interview and booked with her right away after that. This is the best decision we've made postpartum for our first born baby. Although we took classes and read books before the baby was born,real life is different than textbooks. We are so glad we have Terese for our first month. With her help, we can rest assured that our baby will be taken good care of and we can have good sleep during night which is very beneficial for taking care baby in the next day. We are always amazed how fast she can calm down a baby and get things done. Terese is also very knowledgeable about many aspects of taking care of baby and me from lactation advise, baby products, maternity products etc. She shared useful tricks and methods with us to prepare for the next phases. Thank you for all the help! We really appreciate you!

Bringing home our newborn was a whirlwind of emotions, and let's be honest, sleep deprivation. Being first-time parents was extremely terrifying and we wanted to make sure we prepared for it as much as we could. That's where Terese came in like a knight in shining armor with all her tips and tricks and years and years of experiences with different families/babies. Her nighttime support was exactly what we needed to adjust to parenthood. 

Terese's calm and knowledgeable presence was a lifesaver. She expertly soothed our baby, allowing us to catch those precious hours of rest. This made a huge difference in our energy levels and overall well-being. We were much better equipped to handle the daytime challenges (and joys!) of caring for our little one.

Beyond the practical and technical support, Terese offered invaluable emotional support. She was a listening ear during those late-night feeding sessions, offering advice and encouragement when we felt overwhelmed. Knowing she was there to help us navigate this new chapter as parents was incredibly reassuring.

If you're looking for nighttime support for your new arrival, we can't recommend Terese highly enough. She's a true blessing, and we're so grateful to have had her by our side during this special time.

I'm so happy my husband and I made the investment and trust in Terese from Fika Newborn for postpartum overnight care. Even though we spent a lot of time to try to prepare for our first born, Wesley there is only so much I think we were able to learn and retain before his arrival. 

From the first night back home from the hospital, Terese helped us to quickly establish  routines, assist with bottle feeding and lactation advice, and provide a plethora of baby health and developmental resources.

Another huge benefit she offered, was access to borrowing several baby gear which allowed us more access to trial and error various items before buying a ton unnecessary gear, i.e. breast pump models, various swaddles, a lactation massager, and baby ssshher device to name a few. This helped to alleviate some of that buyer's fatigue feeling! 

Speaking of fatigue, it can't be understated how insanely helpful it was for my husband and I to get a few extra hours of shut eye and to have onsite consulting while in the middle of the night. I'm certain her guidance and tips helped us to make small, effective, and gradual pivots in our approach helping our son to adjust to our home as well as boost our confidence as new parents. Thus, less mutual stress and crying = more rest ??.

We enjoyed working with Terese. She was helpful in navigating our baby's early colic days so we could get some sleep overnight. She was helpful with tips about feeding and soothing and also brought us the most amazing homemade granola. We are thankful we had her!

Terese saved us. Period. As very new, naive parents living across the country from ALL family and close friends we did not know what we were getting ourselves into. We also had some intense medical struggles for both baby and mama very early on. Terese was there for us. She was attentive, response, knowledgable, and so loving. I feel blessed that we found her and she came in to our lives and helped us get through those wicked early hours, days, weeks, & months. I always felt that I could trust Terese and she become a great friend and second mom to our newborn. I also worked with several other doulas when she wasn't available and she was by far the absolute best. You will be lucky to have her become a part of your family.

Terese helped us at night the first six weeks my daughter was born and it was such a huge help. Not having to wake as much at night gave me the energy to help my toddler with the transition to big brother. 
Terese is so knowledgeable - she helped us troubleshoot gas and feeding issues, lending us swaddles to try and recommending helpful products. She is also so warm and kind - she made our whole family feel at ease and gave me more confidence as a second time mom. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for postpartum help!

Terese has been a wonderful support for our family. She's knowledgeable, a great communicator, and genuinely cares about my family's wellbeing. She's been providing helpful tips throughout my pregnancy for products and her overnight support has eased the challenging postpartum transition. Terese was a help to us from pregnancy through supporting our newborn's sleep.  While I was pregnant she talked with us about what products we do and don't need and made great recommendations that our baby loves.  Postpartum, she took great care of our family and helped us be the best caregivers of our newborn.  We're still benefitting from her help in figuring out some of the tricks for our baby's best sleep.  She is caring, loves babies, and loves to support families as they welcome a new member.

I'm so thankful to have met Terese.. she has a wealth of knowledge both from education and life experience. She brings a great energy with her to every visit, I always look forward it. She's become like family, lending a hand with anything needed including errands to helping transition our household to having two kids. Our contract may be up at 8 weeks but I don't doubt we'll be connected for a long time.

Terese has been a great addition to our family's night time routine these past 6 weeks!

My company offers 6 weeks of a post-partum night doula as part of their employee benefits (Carrot) and I'm so happy they did because it let us get to bring Terese into the mix after our baby was born.

Her services are amazing for helping new parents get a bit of rest and recovery. Everything from helping select what bottles to use and supplements for my wife's milk production to staying next to our little girl overnight and helping her sleep well while helping with feedings.

Would definitely recommend her to others looking for some overnight help!

My husband and I are first time parents to our baby with GERD and colic. Her colic peak weeks were very difficult and we were at our wits end. We were losing our minds! Our baby changed the moment Terese watched her. She showed us lots of tricks for babies with reflux. Baby has been sleeping through the night since the first time she’s been here. She has come a few more times and we are definitely planning to have her again especially when she starts to roll. Terese is very calm and gentle. She is definitely the baby whisperer!!!

Terese was such a great resource as a first-time Mom. She joined me pretty quickly after I had my baby and realized I needed some help during the day when my husband went back to work. We did an infant care class also which was super helpful in getting some basic knowledge for things my husband and I weren't comfortable doing on our own yet (have you ever tried to bathe a baby for the first time?! It's terrifying! )

Terese was great with my son and in the beginning, when I just needed some time to myself to sleep or shower or brush my teeth, I felt totally comfortable letting Terese handle everything. If I ever had any questions or thoughts that Terese wasn't sure about she would research the topic later and circle back with me.

Terese also helped connect me with other doulas and night doulas when her next contract started and I was still looking for additional help. Having a network of doulas was an invaluable asset as a first-time Mom!

Testimonial from January 2022: After finding out my little guy was breech, and we needed to schedule a C section, I panicked knowing we had no family or friends nearby to help with my recovery. A friend of a friend put me in touch with Terese who was available to support us for my first 3 weeks postpartum. Terese has been such a pleasure to have in our home; she adores our little guy and takes amazing care of him overnight. Terese is incredibly knowledgeable on newborn care, which is so helpful for us first-time parents. From the beginning, she was flexible and insisted on supporting us through whatever our needs were. I have been very focused on breastfeeding so she has been helping me with that! My husband and I enjoy catching up with her when she comes over; her demeanor is calm and encouraging.
