I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to sharing how much Dom meant to me during my birth experience. I was in a situation that felt incredibly isolating—none of my family were able to be at the hospital with me, and as my due date approached, I was filled with anxiety and fear about doing it alone. But then came Dom. From the moment we connected, she brought a sense of peace, strength, and warmth that I didn’t know I needed. She didn’t just show up—she stood in, like family.
Dom supported me in ways that went far beyond what I imagined a doula could do. She answered every question with patience and care, gave me evidence-based resources when I was overwhelmed by decisions, and always made me feel heard and respected. Her presence never felt clinical or transactional—she was emotionally invested, genuinely kind, and always attuned to what I needed in each moment.
During labor, Dom was everything: my advocate, my grounding force, my comfort, my strength. She held my hand when I was scared, reminded me of my power when I forgot, and stayed by my side through it all with unwavering support. She helped me believe I could do this—even when it all felt impossible. And because of her, I didn’t just make it through my birth—I did it feeling empowered, supported, and deeply cared for.
Dom helped me bring the most beautiful boy into the world, and she did it with love, grace, and strength that I’ll never forget. I truly can’t imagine this experience without her. If you are lucky enough to have Dom by your side, know that you will be held in the most compassionate and capable hands. She changed my life, and I will forever be grateful.

I found Dom while I was pregnant with my second child. After having had a challenging experience with my first birth and postpartum, I wanted to have a doula to help me have a better experience with my second baby, and connecting with Dom was the best thing to ever happen! Dom immediately made me feel comfortable with her, and put me at ease over the many questions and concerns I had about managing my second pregnancy and introducing my new baby to my older child. She even put together an educational presentation for my 5 year old daughter so she would understand some of the things to expect when I went into labor and when baby came home, and my daughter learned so much and took her sibling role very seriously, much in thanks to Dom's education. Dom was my personal cheerleader all along the way, and was always ready with research and supportive words for anything that came up in my journey. In addition to her support for me, Dom was also a strong resource for my husband when we were navigating some challenges postpartum. She always remembered to check in on him and make sure he felt supported as he cared for me while I recovered from birth and then also managed mastitis. Dom has perfected the art of acting as a combination of mother, best friend, and healthcare professional, all wrapped up in her doula role. Her support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum changed my entire experience with my second baby, and our family of four is forever grateful for her kindness, compassion and knowledge as a doula!

It’s been almost a year since I found Dom online and reached out to her, desperate for someone to support me to have the birth story I was desperate for. Dom was amazing from the beginning. Empowering me to re-write my own story, and encouraging me to be compassionate with the part of my story that was already written. She helped to steady my voice and find my power to choose, and became a critical part of my pregnancy and birth story. I credit her for finally coming to terms and accepting that I may not get the VBA2C I desperately wanted, and if I didn’t, I would be okay. Part of this was processing the birth traumas that had already been written into my story, and healing from those events. But so much of it was finding my voice and using it to express my expectations, wants, and needs to my care providers. To ask questions, and to challenge the answers. When the end of my pregnancy was not looking like I had hoped, she was there to provide unyielding support, and snacks. The best snacks. =) She was present for my induction, often giving me the play by play the doctors and nurses either couldn’t or didn’t provide, reassuring me throughout, providing pain management, helping to guide and support my husband, and also giving space. She supported our decision to move into a c-section, avoiding a potential emergency later, and still called me brave and strong. And she was there waiting when we came out. The months following the birth of my third child were tough. My husband and I split in our roles, he caring for our older two children almost exclusively and me taking care of a newborn. The postpartum period has never been kind to me. But Dom continued to offer support, and her support throughout my pregnancy allowed me to have peace postpartum that I had made the right decision for myself and my baby and my family, and that ultimately it was my choice. I will forever be grateful for Dom and this part she played in my life.

No one can prepare you for this adventure you're about to take on but it doesn't mean you have to do it alone. I am so incredibly grateful for the support and love/care Dom has shown my twin girls. My husband is back to work already (had a week off) and I needed some nights of sleep so thankfully Dom was able to pencil us in (I reached out to her very late in my journey). She has been so good to the girls (and to my husband and me!) and she has shared so many resources that's helped me as a first time mom. I literally could not do this without her and I am so fortunate Dom made time for our family. 100/10 I'd recommend her!

Dominique goes above and beyond for her mama clients and even their older children. Through every high and low of emotions that I experienced during pregnancy she had very supportive responses and even sent research to support my mindset even further. She encourages self-care and positive mindset changes that are so needed with all the changes that come with a pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
I felt so prepared for my birth because she had a plan for everything. She walked me through creating my birth team and who would benefit me being present. I experienced a home-birth and she guided me at each step as I navigated this change after having 2 hospital births.
She taught a class to my 6 and 3 year old on what a doulas role is and how THEY can support me during birthand they wowed me with the skills taught by her!! I had a redemptive and even dream birth because of her ! I will forever be grateful.
During my pospartum period, she gave me necessary breaks, was very generous with helping care for the house and my older kids. She discussed breastfeeding struggles with me and MORE! I dont want to give away all the tiny magical things she did or ways she made me feel so loved because I want YOU to experience that for yourself but I give her a glowing+ recommendation. I will shout from the rooftops, Dom the Doula is an amazing birth and postpartum partner.
