I met Crystal through a friend of the family and never did I think this woman would have such an impact on me. I can honestly say that if it weren't for her I would not have embarked on my home birth journey for my second pregnancy. 

I was someone that had my first labor/delivery in a very western medicine traditional setting. Unfortunately, I was pregnant through covid so things were already a bit weird. My experience wasn't poor and I had even considered home birth but lacked the confidence (that I believe eventually came from knowing someone that's gone through this process) from executing that option first time. As a result, while my first labor was fine I knew it wasn't what I envisioned. In addition, the experience that came after with nursing and hormones left me feeling confused and abandoned by traditional medicine.

I had started getting to know Crystal prior to becoming pregnant and she was someone that instantly struck me as a go giver. She was open and honest about her experience and wanted to share all she could. Having been someone that already had 2 home births and was nursing successfully I gobbled up all her useful info. When I became pregnant I knew I wanted her to be part of the process. Crystal connected me with my amazing midwife and over the course of my pregnancy throughout my pregnancy with love, support, patience and no judgement. She won over my husband who was totally new to all of this and showed him and my son how they could be supported through the pregnancy and labor/delivery. She has provided me so many countless resources to prep me for labor and nursing. She has taken so much time to be there and love me. She lives and breathes pregnancy, birthing and post partum. I could not imagine doing this without someone that has Crystal's experience. She's a gem!
