I pride myself on being a fierce advocate—what some lovingly call a “doula bear”—in hospital environments. I’m not afraid to ensure your voice is heard, your preferences are respected, and your care aligns with your vision for your birth. Whether it’s guiding you through informed decisions, supporting you during interventions, or creating a calm, sacred space in the often-clinical atmosphere of a hospital, I am there to protect and honor your birthing journey.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
Birth centers beautifully balance the comforts of home with the reassurance of medical support nearby. I feel at home in these spaces because they prioritize autonomy and low-intervention care, which aligns with my philosophy of birth. As your doula, I will help you embrace the calming environment of the birth center, whether it’s through movement, breathing techniques, or ensuring your birthing plan remains central to your care. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel safe, supported, and in control, allowing your body and mind to work harmoniously during labor.

Attends home births? Any Home Birth
Home Birth Home births hold a special place in my heart because they reflect the purest form of physiological birth. I know this deeply because I experienced it firsthand with my own unassisted birth at home. That transformative experience solidified my belief in the power and capability of the birthing body when supported in a safe and peaceful environment. As your doula, I bring not only professional expertise but also the personal understanding of what it takes to create a sacred, empowering home birth experience. Whether it’s guiding your partner in hands-on support, suggesting comfort measures, or simply holding space for your process, I am deeply committed to helping you navigate this intimate and life-changing journey. Home birth is my passion, and it is truly my honor to support families in welcoming their babies in this profoundly personal way.

I’ve provided free and low-cost Doula services to families who might not otherwise access personalized care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, empowering them to navigate their experiences with confidence. I’ve also partnered with community organizations to host events such as community baby showers and birth fairs, offering free childbirth education, resources, and hands-on support to expectant parents. Additionally, I’ve organized donation drives for essential items like diapers, postpartum supplies, and baby gear to assist families in need. I’ve volunteered at clinics and community centers, leading workshops on natural labor techniques, hypnobirthing, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery. These sessions aim to ensure families feel informed and empowered as they prepare for childbirth and parenthood. My focus has always been to advocate for birth equity, and I’ve worked alongside local initiatives to address maternal mortality and disparities in care. By advocating for expanded access to midwifery and doula services, particularly for underserved communities, I strive to make holistic care accessible to all. In leadership roles, I’ve served on advisory boards for organizations focused on improving maternal health. I’ve contributed to policy development and outreach initiatives aimed at creating culturally competent, equitable care. I’ve also spoken at public forums and panels on topics like Black maternal mortality, VBAC options, and the transformative role of doulas in reducing birth trauma. Additionally, I’ve mentored new doulas, guiding them to grow their skills and confidence while fostering a stronger birth work community. Through this work, I remain committed to ensuring every family has access to compassionate, informed care while advocating for systemic change that uplifts families and birth workers alike.
