Adde is a true gem. She was amazing in helping me get through a successful VBAC. She is the perfect blend of professional and friendly. She supported me before labor through phone calls and text messages so I could ask her as many questions as I needed and she was even available if I needed to talk through some tough feelings. She supported me and my husband through 10 hours of labor and advocated for me when I was too tired to even speak, she even supported me when I got mastitis after our working contract had ended. Adde was a valuble part of my birth experience and I highly recommend her.

Adde was the most amazing doula we could have imagined. She has such a calming and genuine energy - our experiences with her felt like hanging out with a close friend. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us feel prepared for all of the different possibilities when it comes to childbirth. What really stood out to me about Adde was how much she helped ease my anxiety by explaining things in a new light and sharing her personal experiences. She helped me navigate some big feelings and enjoy my pregnancy/birthing journey. She also took some amazing photos of our daughter being born and I had no idea how much I would love them. We couldn’t be more grateful to have had Adde by our side!

Adde is THE BEST doula ever. She is super AMAZING at what she does. It was my first time having a baby and there were some supposed complications that could happen and Adde calmed me through the process, took time to understand my needs, while at the same time respecting my boundaries. During delivery, she was a support that was very much needed. She has a unique balance of knowing when to push if needed and when to step back. She is just a fabulous person and doula. Adde also stayed with baby at the hospital and kept reassuring me that everything was okay. It was like having family support me which was really important to me as my family was far away (apart from my husband). I would choose Adde 10,000 times again. She was like my big sister through it all. You can never go wrong with working with Adde!!! I 101% recommend!

I did not have a doula for my first baby, and wanted a different experience the second time around. Adde was the doula for my second birth, and immediately put me at ease. Before hiring her, I was low-key panicking about going through labor again. But after talking to her, going through pain management exercises, and making a plan, I felt prepared. Despite the fact that I had to be induced for both of my births, and could not have an epidural for either (due to previous spinal surgery), the two experiences cannot even be compared!! Adde was incredibly helpful. She talked me through the early stages via text and phone call, then arrived to the hospital at the perfect moment to help with more hands-on advice and positioning. She assured me that everything was progressing normally and helped me keep things moving. My first birth experience was traumatic. My second birth, with Adde at my side, was exactly as I'd hoped for. My only regret is that I didn't hire her for my first baby too!

I felt at ease with Adde the first time we connected online. I knew she would be the doula for me! She really listened to my hopes for my birth and it was so evident when she arrived at the hospital. During my labor the room was filled with various nurses/doctors giving directions, but I'll be honest, the only voice I narrowed in on was Adde's! Her calm presence helped put me at ease and gave me confidence knowing that my wishes for my son's birth were being acknowledged by all. She guided me in all the right ways and I could tell she approached my labor in a way unique to me. I will never forget her calm voice cheering me on during labor, making the birth of my son a peaceful memory...the one I had hoped for.

I get emotional talking about Adde as my doula because she was the biggest blessing. At all of my prenatal visits we had fun, she was extremely informative, and she helped me feel prepared for an unmedicated birth. I went six days past my due date and Adde was constantly checking in on me and encouraging me, while also giving me practical tips to get my baby to drop. When I went into labor in the middle of the night Adde was responsive and immediately began coaching me through contractions to help me tolerate them and be able to labor at home until I headed to the birth center. She knows her stuff and was able to tell I was going through transition just by listening over the phone. Adde got to the birth center quickly and as soon as she stepped in the room began helping me in all the right ways. She knew exactly when to be hands on, what to say, and how to care for me. I truly do not think I would have been able to do an unmedicated birth without her as my doula. I felt safe and empowered throughout the entire birth. Adde did a great job checking in postpartum with me and providing any support that I needed. There aren't any words to describe how thankful I am for her and all she did for me and my family. I will definitely have Adde as my doula for future births.

Hiring Adde as our birth doula was the best decision my husband and I could have made when preparing for the birth of our first baby. From the first time we met Adde, we felt assured that she would enthusiastically support us and our decisions. During our prenatal visits, she prepared us for what to expect and helped alleviate our anxiety about the birth process. We were struck with how kind and personable she was and we felt like we were bringing a knowledgable friend with us to the hospital. She was a calming presense for my husband and me when we encountered unexpected obstacles during our birth and was invaluable in helping me move into different labor positions even with an epidural. Adde offers postpartum support as well, so when I had questions, she was able to research and send me evidence-based information. It was comforting to know that she was always only a quick text or phone call away even if I just needed to talk through my feelings. We would highly recommend Adde to anyone looking for a friendly, compassionate advocate for their birth experience. We are so grateful that Adde was by our side during the most vulnerable and amazing experience of our lives.

I’m not sure where to begin to express the profound impact Adde has had on our family’s life. As a first time mom-to-be, Adde came alongside my husband and I to support the joyful anticipation of our daughter. After a long season of infertility, waiting and loss, it was important to us to be intentional with this sacred experience. She listened to our birth wishes, created space to discuss fears, hopes and priorities. She came equipped with tools to support us to make informed decisions and enter into birth and postpartum feeling confident, capable and somehow made room for more joy than we thought possible. Adde exudes a calm and steadfastness that washes over during moments of pain and uncertainty. She held me up, physically and emotionally as I become a mother. She also held my husband and supported his goals to be hands on and present during our daughter’s birth. If you’re considering a doula as part of your birth team, there is no one more suited to this work than my beloved friend Adde.

As someone that was searching for someone that toes the line between evidence backed care and something a bit more.. well Hippy - I was so pleased to find Adde on doula match. Prior to finding Adde I was discovering I wasn't clicking with any doulas I would interview as they all usually swung way too far in either direction. Immediately, Adde and I clicked and she really understood the type of care I was in search for.

Adde, really cared for our wellbeing not only physically but mentally. My anxiety about birthing in a hospital was really calmed working with her as she prepared us for any outcome. Outside of my birth preference - I was induced at 40 weeks after some very high BP readings. I think I would have really fallen apart if it wasn’t for her calm guidance.

We really felt so educated and well taken care of through the whole process. We were able to have a stress free L&D because of our preparation with her as well as postpartum period. Adde provided us postpartum guidance - which as new parents it was so wonderful to have an educated sounding board as so many questions come up in those first few weeks! She even helped guide my husband on what he should be cooking for me to help my healing and breast milk production!

I’ve been recommending Adde to all my pregnant Seattle based parents to be! If you’re new at birth and a first time parent she will be your North Star.

I knew Adde was my doula the moment we met. She just has that “it” thing. Even before we had our interview, her communication made me feel instantly comforted and I just knew she would be my fit.  Sure enough, our first video chat my assumptions were spot on. She radiates good energy! It felt like having a sister around. Aside from the feel good “click” we had she is highly qualified. Anytime I had a questions or needed guidance she had ample information and resources. Plus she is a mom herself so she can anticipate your needs from her own experiences. I’m a first time mom so entering this foreign territory had me nervous especially when delivery came due.  My partner and I had to go through a long labor process which felt like a never ending rollercoaster and Adde was there for the both of us every step of the way. With physical support, words of encouragement,  comedic relief, and sometimes the much needed stern reminders to stay focused. She was a mind reader. Literally. I could just look in her direction she would know what I needed. Delivery is such an emotional process and it felt so easy to express my thoughts and needs and feel understood and fully supported and not just for me but my partner as well. Adde is truly a special person and when we decide to have another baby she will be there. I am so appreciative of everything she did for me and my new little family. I’m thankful her services were available in my time of need and feel lucky I stumbled upon such a lovely person and lifetime friend.
