We feel so lucky and grateful for Katelyn's support! Our birth delivery didn't go as planned but Katelyn always kept in touch with us, constantly reaching out. She was always present and attentive. I really like the fact that we met Katelyn in person before the birth. She really took time to explain us the process, listen and answer our questions, validate and clear our fears/concerns. 
I highly recommend Katelyn. She's kind, thoughtful, friendly and always supportive! Thank you so much for all your help ??

I’m very late in writing this, but Katelyn was an incredible support during such an important time in our lives that I couldn’t let more time pass without sharing.

She brought so much calm, care, and encouragement to my birth experience. I felt truly supported and safe with her by my side.

We were also lucky to have her as our night doula in those early postpartum months. Her presence gave us the gift of rest and peace of mind during a very exhausting time. She’s compassionate, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does.

We’re so grateful for everything she did for our family. If you’re thinking about working with her, do it. You’ll be in amazing hands.

I hired Katelyn to support the birth of my second child in April 2025, and my experience with her was wonderful. She was an incredible intermediary between the hospital staff and us throughout the process.

I began looking for a doula late in pregnancy in case my husband needed to stay home with our older child. We had only one prenatal visit before I went into labor two days later, but Katelyn made sure to understand my medical history, birth preferences, and ways to ease my discomfort. She helped me prepare for my final OBGYN visit by suggesting questions, one of which led to an ultrasound that revealed my baby was sideways. Since I was trying for a VBAC after a C-section caused by poor baby positioning, this was crucial. She also gave me exercises to help improve the baby’s position.

At the hospital, Katelyn was a strong advocate. She kept track of my contractions, explained everything happening around me, and gave context for decisions like whether to use Pitocin. I always felt informed and supported. When it came time to push, she was right there encouraging me and even helped the staff when needed. The nurses and midwives spoke highly of her.

She also visited postpartum to offer guidance on healing, breastfeeding, and newborn care. I felt fully supported even after delivery.

I’m incredibly grateful to have had Katelyn by my side. She made a stressful experience smoother and more empowering. I would absolutely work with her again and highly recommend her to others.

We were referred to Katelyn by a friend, and we’re so grateful for the recommendation. From the start, she was incredibly responsive and flexible with our schedule, which meant a lot to us during a hectic time. Even though our baby wasn't quite ready to come home yet, Katelyn still came over to help us prepare. She spent thoughtful time setting up our space, including creating a super organized and efficient station for sanitizing bottles.

She also shared so many helpful tips and recommendations for newborn care and must-have essentials, which gave us a lot of confidence as first-time parents. What stood out the most was her genuine care — she even followed up after her visit to check in on how we were doing.

Katelyn truly went above and beyond. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate doula.

First and foremost if you are considering hiring a doula, stop thinking and do it! Katelyn was extremely helpful and and comforting to both my husband from beggining to end! Being  this was our first baby we had no idea what to expect in the process and Katelyn not only helped educate us, but advocated for me while in the hospital. Once contractions started and things got more intense Katelyn was amazing, calm and knew exactly what to do and how to help my husband as well. My birthing experience was not ideal (had to have a C-section), but Katelyn did everyting she could do to try to avoid this and I cannot thank her enough for being the extra support during this whole process. 

I want to thank Katelyn again and I could not have asked for a better person to bring a long this crazy journey with!

Katelyn came several times before the birth to build a relationship and educate us. We struggled to find a hospital with midwives that would accept our insurance. Katelyn promptly found all the hospitals in the area and provided a list and even helped us make appts. During her visits we created a birth plan and contingencies for all medical situations. She walked us through every possible scenario and told us what the hospital would be required to do in certain scenarios. We Started labor in the early afternoon. Katelyn showed up early to help with pain management and facilitation of our day. She helped with timing the contractions length and frequency. When contractions reached  5-7 min apart we drove to the hospital. Once admitted we found out we were only 2 cm. With Katelyn’s help we decided it would be prudent to stay local at a hotel. Katelyn stayed in a conjoining room to help with pain and support. We didn’t sleep very much that first night. The next morning as contractions reached 3-5min, we were admitted. Katelyn walked through breathing exercises, TENS machine, music and scent therapy. Unfortunately, after 36 hours and much consideration we decided it was best to get an epidural. Katelyn was able to talk in detail about procedures and medications that would need to be started with the epidural. At 8cm dilated we had a 2 hour window to get some sleep because now nearing 48 hours none of us had slept much. Katelyn was able to assist Mama so that me and Mother could get an hour or two sleep before the last push. After 49 hours of labor; Katelyn being there for every minute, we had a healthy baby. I cannot stress how much help it was to have an extra set of hands or someone to talk to and ask questions. She was very respectful to hospital staff, while providing us education and real-time step by step processes. We couldn’t be happier having known Katelyn and couldn’t endorse her more. Thank you Katelyn from our family!

Working with Katelyn was a great experience as a first time Mom. I felt supported and aware of all of the possibilities with my birth. I also had gestational diabetes, and working with Katelyn made navigating that process so much less intimidating. I would highly recommend Katelyn to any Moms-to-be! She is compassionate, personable, and I was comfortable having her by my side through my three day long labor. She even came to visit my little one at 8 weeks.

Katelyn is amazing. She was there with me all through my induction and delivery. Things didn't go as planned for me and I had to have a c- section. Katlyn stayed calm and explained everything every step of the way. I appreciated having her there more then any of the nurses. I would fully recommend Katelyn to anyone looking for a great doula. She is amazing and will make sure to advocate and be there with you every step of the way.
