I am a first time mom. Anna and my husband were my rocks. We were in it together and truly a team. Anna instructed me on different positions and made me feel capable. She even counseled me through the emotionally challenging parts. I could not have anticipated how much I needed the support she offered. Anna was so gentle and compassionate with me. This was the most vulnerable and empowering experience of my life, and I genuinely could not have done it without Anna. After the birth, when my husband and I had finally settled, we were discussing how insane the whole experience really was. We were both so proud of ourselves for making it through my 48 hour long labor. We kept saying "I can't  imagine how people labor without a doula", over and over again. Anna worked through every single contraction with me, used her hands to physically ease my pain, ran on no sleep, and was present for me. She helped me navigate things not going as planned and assisted me in making informed decisions on my own time. I wish this birth experience for everyone. Birth can be painful, scary, euphoric, exciting, vulnerable, spiritual, beautiful, and so many things all at once. I cant recommend Anna more. Thank you for everything you did for our family!
