Emily was amazing and helped me through my third birth. My birth plan didn't go at all how I wanted it too, but it made it so much better having Emily there for support in any way that I may have needed! My son's birth wouldn't have been nearly as smooth as it was had she not been there and I couldn't be more grateful and thankful to have had her there for my labor and birth!!

My husband, my baby, and I had the privilege of having Emily York as our doula. Emily was extremely considerate, conscientious, and overall just a natural caretaker. During labor she just jumped in and instinctively knew what to do. She took action quickly yet was very gentle and “in the background” so that I had space to do what I needed to do. She was extremely intuitive to my needs and an excellent communicator, never assuming she had the answers. It was a blessing and huge benefit to us to have had her there. She was also so kind, warm and sweet which helped me feel safe and protected, all which played a role in getting our baby boy safely into the world. We'd highly recommend Emily York to anyone looking for a doula to improve their  birth experience.
