I’m forever grateful to have had Ashleigh by my side for the birth of my son in August 2025. I decided pretty late in my pregnancy at 37 weeks to work with a doula, and my son was born at 39 weeks. Ashleigh hit the ground running, providing my husband and I with so many wonderful resources and being our rock as we got closer to my due date. She is warm, compassionate, and a great listener, exactly what I needed as a nervous first time mother.

When my water broke in the middle of the night, Ashleigh picked up the phone right away and helped me stay calm and decide when to go to the hospital. During labor, she was a reassuring and friendly presence. We spent a long time chatting after I got my epidural and it felt like having an old friend in the room with me.

When it came time to push, Ashleigh and I realized my epidural dosage was too high, making it hard for me to feel my contractions. Ashleigh immediately got my okay and went to ask the doctor to lower it. Without Ashleigh there, I never would have known that was something I could ask for, and probably would have been too intimidated to ask for it myself.

In the end, I was blessed to have a wonderful labor and delivery experience, and I credit so much of that to having Ashleigh there. I was able to go into it feeling more confident knowing she had my back.

Even after we brought our son home, Ashleigh still continued to check in. We were able to message her with random newborn care questions and she was always responsive and helpful. She also connected us with our lactation consultant. 

Overall, I can’t recommend Ashleigh enough. If I have another baby, I will definitely want to work with her again.

I delivered my baby Ashleig earlier this month 08/2025. This was my first time utilizing a doula as this is my second baby… Ashleigh has been very attentive & my rock throughout this pregnancy! She always checks in, I felt like I had a friend or cousin with me, you can tell she genuinely cares and LOVES her job! She is super Knowledgeable , truly knows her stuff! She also recommended me to an amazing OB practice that ill forever be using ... My labor lasted 25 hours she stayed the whole time with me.. by my side. I was literally amazed we did a bunch of position changes to help my stubborn body dilate .. she was patient with me the whole time and never made me feel like a bother.. the whole unit/ all the nurses in my hospital was amazed by her skills, and wanted to meet my amazing doula that had me in all the positions. I can literally go on for days how amazing she is, even my husband was amazed . He said “next baby we need a doula and we need Ashleigh” . !!! At the end i pushed out a beautiful baby boy !!

From the very first interview, Ashleigh felt like a longtime friend. She immediately put me at ease with her warmth and her incredible knowledge — whether it was recommending the best nursing bras, explaining vaccines, or providing research to back up every answer, she was always quick, thorough, and supportive.

When my birth took an unexpected turn — baby arriving 3 weeks early after I developed sudden high blood pressure — Ashleigh was absolutely key to me having a positive birth story. She guided me through what to expect with induction, kept me calm and informed when things weren’t going according to my original plan, and became my hero during labor. Thanks to her coaching, I only had to push for 10 minutes before our baby arrived. She also gave me the confidence to move through different positions before and after my epidural, which made a world of difference.

Ashleigh’s support didn’t stop at birth. She stayed in close communication afterwards, even beyond our home visit, which meant so much when I was unexpectedly hospitalized with postpartum preeclampsia. She helped me figure out pumping when my baby wasn’t latching well and then coached me again when I faced oversupply issues.

I truly cannot recommend Ashleigh enough. She was the steady, knowledgeable, compassionate guide I needed during one of the most important times of my life. I will 100% be calling her again if we grow our family further!

I cannot recommend having a doula enough, especially for first time moms. Ashleigh was an amazing doula (kind, knowledgeable, and resourceful) to have for my husband and I in the weeks leading up to my due date. She was a godsend in the hospital as she helped me labor. I had to be induced at 41 w 2 d. Ashleigh was there helping me get through the pain of contractions up until I decided to get an epidural. After getting the epidural late into the evening, she stayed up with me all night putting me in various positions to help the baby descend and to help me dilate. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to have a c-section to ensure the safety of my baby and Ashleigh really helped my husband and I emotionally process the final steps of my delivery and advocate for myself in the hospital. After delivery, Ashleigh does a home post partum visit which is great. I highly recommend Ashleigh to any first-time moms and anyone interested in naturally inducing labor.

We hired Asleigh for our delivery in May 2025. She was responsive from the very first reach out, which we appreciated as first time parents not knowing what to expect. She was incredibly patient, kind and listened to my preferences. She provided a ton of research and articles for me to look into. I really appreciated how she was she had experience with the hospital I delivered at as well as my Doctor's practice.  I actually would have reached out to her more along my pregnancy but didn't know that I could - that was my error.

During the birth she was AMAZING. I went into labor at 3am and wasn't sure if she would be able to make it, but she did and was amazing. She was so helpful having me move through epidural friendly positions. I truly believe because of this I didn't need any intervenions or other medications to progress my labor. Her natural disposistion is so gentle, which I loved during labor. She really took the fear of delivery (from a first time mom) away and I couldn't be more grateful. I would love to hire Asleigh again for future deliveries if we stay in NJ/NY.

Ashleigh was wonderful. I am a first time mom and wanted to have an unmedicated birth in a birthing center and she was on board from the beginning. During pregnancy, she consistently checked in on us, gave my husband all the support he could ask for and made sure to know where my head was at throughout the journey. She has a very calming presence which made me want to use her from the moment we met. During my labor, she was in great contact and came as soon as we needed her. She helped me get through some very difficult contractions at home to show up fully dilated to the birth center. She worked with my husband while I pushed for almost 2 hours to keep me calm and believe in myself. Really wonderful experience with her and would definitely recommend!

As a first-time mom and registered nurse, I thought I was prepared for labor and postpartum—after all, I had a medical background. But nothing could have prepared me for the overwhelming emotions and the intensity of childbirth and the postpartum period. I was anxious, unsure, and honestly, a little scared.

When I began searching for doulas, I originally hoped to find someone focused on postpartum support. Instead, I found Ashleigh—and I'm so glad I did. After our first conversation, I felt an immediate sense of comfort. Ashleigh has an incredible balance of vibrant energy and calming presence. Her approach was grounding, reassuring, and exactly what I needed.

Throughout my pregnancy and labor, Ashleigh was able to read the room and meet me where I was emotionally and physically. Whether she was offering gentle encouragement, answering questions with clarity, or helping navigate decisions about my birth plan, she made everything feel manageable.

We are so grateful to have had Ashleigh as our doula. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, positive, and reassuring — exactly the kind of presence we needed as we prepared for the birth of our baby. She was also so thorough in helping us get ready for both a vaginal delivery and a C-section, making sure we felt informed and confident no matter how things unfolded.

Although we ultimately had a planned C-section, Ashleigh was fully supportive of every decision we made. She never made us feel judged or uncertain — just completely supported — which meant so much during what was a very emotional and difficult decision.

On the day of the birth, our surgery was delayed for several hours, and although she wasn’t allowed in the OR with us, Ashleigh waited in the hospital the entire time — just to check in on us afterward and make sure we were okay. That level of care and commitment is something we’ll never forget.

Having her by our side throughout this journey made such a difference. We truly can’t recommend Ashleigh enough to anyone looking for a kind, grounded, and genuinely supportive.

As soon as I found out, I was pregnant, I knew I wanted a doula for support during labor and delivery. My husband, on the other hand, was hesitant to have a doula because he felt that he was going to be in the room supporting me and so having a stranger in the room wasn’t really necessary. During my interview with Ashleigh, she reassured me that she couldn’t and wouldn’t replace my husband. She said they would work together as a team and, for example, she could provide physical support while my husband provided emotional support. Ashleigh not only provided physical support during the labor, but she also helped answer many of mine and my husband’s questions before the big day even came. The week leading up to the delivery, I was constantly texting Ashleigh questions and getting her thoughts on what I was thinking and what the doctors were saying. My husband quickly saw the value in having her as part of our team. Whatever Ashleigh’s personal views on labor and delivery, she puts them aside and works with you to help you achieve your goals. I planned on having a completely unmedicated vaginal birth and she supported it from the start. She also made it clear that my safety and the safety of the baby come first and if we had to veer from my plan, she would be blunt and say so. Thankfully, I was able to have the birth I wanted and would not have been able to do so if it weren’t for my husband AND Ashleigh. Having that extra person in the room who understands the medical lingo, the timeline of events, and was able to give suggestions for different laboring positions was key. My husband was a great support, but Ashleigh truly amplified it. I can’t recommend her enough!!

I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Ashleigh with me (literally by my side) in the last weeks of pregnancy and during a very long and unpredictable birthing and labor.  Ashleigh ms role was meant to be knowledgeable professional, but she also became a much needed and valuable source of emotional support for me. 

Right from the start, Ashleigh brought warmth, compassion, and a wealth of knowledge and experience that made me feel at ease during every phase of birthing. My birth plan was very specific- and would have been super difficult for me to carry out / know when to modify It if she hadn't been there helping me think things through. With her support, my partner and I felt confident in our decisions. Every roadblock we had met with gentle guidance and understanding as well as patience and thorough answers.

what impressed me most was Ashleigh's endurance through It all. I was in labor for over 30 hours, and she was an absolute rock through the whole thing. Her presence was like a gentle anchor, reminding me to breathe and stay focused on my goals. She accurately read my signals of when I needed to talk and get moving, and when I needed silence and to turn inward. My emotional physical and mental endurance would have dwindled a lot faster has she not been there supporting 

If you're looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your birth , look no further than  Ashleigh. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a supportive and empowering birthing experience.

We had Ashleigh as our doula for our son who was born in October, 2024.  Ashleigh arrived at the hospital and immediately was a calming and steady influence for us.  She was a wonderful addition to the birthing room and was able to interact with the doctors, nurses and staff well and also give us the comfort and support we needed as our son was being delivered.  We really can't say enough positive things about our experience with Ashleigh and would highly recommend her to any expecting parents to be.

I decided pretty last minute & late in my pregnancy that I wanted to hire a doula and im so so grateful! I wish I had Ashleigh with us longer throughout the pregnancy! 
Right from our first meeting I knew she was exactly what my husband & I were looking for- an additional support for the process, resource for knowledge, & calming presence & support in labor. We had an unplanned early induction that made me very anxious and my husband was already anxious about labor - Ashleigh was not just a support for me but my husband completely relied on her too! Her energy was exactly what we needed. She worked so well with the nurses and health staff it felt like we had a whole team with us. 
Ashleigh was the best & we will definitely be having her for our next too :)

My husband and I hired Ashleigh as our birth doula, and believe she was entirely responsible for how well the birth of my first (and only so far!) baby went.

Well before giving birth, Ashleigh and I went over my "wishlist." She fully discussed my options, her experiences, and did not pressure me to take one route over another. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel certain I was going into the delivery room with someone fully prepared to advocate on my behalf and see my hopes fulfilled.

Ashleigh carried out everything I asked for. We had stars in the room, scents that really helped me with nausea, and after I got an epidural she helped me move into positions that ensured my epidural was fully effective. She was a phenomena cheerleader, and took photos I will always cherish. 

She was a great support for both me and my husband. We will 100% be hiring Ashleigh again if and when the time comes, and we cannot recommend her enough. She is a great person to have by your side.

Ashleigh was wonderful to work with. My delivery ended up having complications, and it was truly a gift to have Ashleigh in my corner advocating for me and keeping me sane during a very stressful process. She even had insight that the doctor lacked, intuiting that my baby had nuchal cord and that was part of the reason why he wasn't descending -- this was proven correct when he was delivered. She was caring and kind, and kept in touch long after her job was done. I felt very taken care of by her. If I have another child I would hire her again in a second.

Ashleigh is warm and personable and has a way of putting you at ease while also explaining things so that they make sense and allow you to feel in control. 

This was our first child and without family and friends nearby, we really wanted some additional support in the birthing process since you never know how it will go. Even though I have a medical background and feel comfortable in the healthcare setting, having Ashleigh by my side as I labored, to advocate for me with the doctors and nurses proved invaluable. I had a botched epidural and with her help I was able to get the pain relief I needed. My daughter had to be taken to NICU at birth while I hemorrhaged. My husband went with our daughter and Ashleigh stayed by my side in this very scary moment until I recovered. I am super grateful that she was able to support both of us through this induction, labor and post delivery despite having just come from another really long induction. She really went above and beyond for us.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ashleigh's services to anyone. Labor and birth are so intense and things can happen so quickly you really want someone calm who's seen it all and isn't afraid to be pushy to get you what you need when you can't speak up for yourself (because you're busy laboring). We really can't thank Ashleigh enough for all her help.

We were fortunate enough to have Ashleigh as our doula for the birth of our first, Quinn, in April, and she supported us before, during, and after the birth going above and beyond! From the first meeting, Ashleigh's calm demeanor was infectious, and helped me feel much more optimistic about having the birth I wanted. She was so prepared and walked us through every possibility during labor, and made me aware of options I had throughout the process. Working with Ashleigh allowed me to feel empowered going into my birth, and advocate for what I wanted and didn't want. She helped my husband Chris feel ready to support me which is something we hadn't had a plan for before. Having Ashleigh on call before labor was invaluable - she answered any and all questions I had quickly, and checked in on me frequently and made sure I was feeling good and doing all I could to prep for an easy labor. During labor, Ashleigh was calm and talked to me to keep me happy and ready for the pushing. It was like having your most supportive friend in the delivery room! She helped Quinn latch right after delivery, and made sure the Golden Hour was preserved with me and my husband so that we had the bond right after birth that we wanted.  I was SO happy with my care team during delivery (I had an almost 10 pound baby after only 10 hours of labor so that was not an easy feat), and Ashleigh was a huge part of that, making sure they all worked together for me! After birth, Ashleigh checked in on us so much and made it clear she really cares about us and Quinn, and loves her role as a doula. We had a wonderful experience with Ashleigh as our doula, but even better, we're leaving this experience with a great friend!
