My wife and I had the most amazing experience with Michelle, from before the birth, to the birth experience, to after the birth. She was there every step of the way, made us comfortable, we felt informed, and she was always in our corner. We left the process and started parenthood with such a feeling of love and bliss and it was largely due to how amazing Michelle was and is. She has our highest recommendation and we hope that she is there for all of our future births. She is an amazing woman, someone we now consider a friend, we love her, and we are forever grateful for everything she did for us.

I cannot recommend Michelle enough. From the very beginning of my pregnancy through delivery and postpartum, she was an incredible source of knowledge, calm, and unwavering support. She took the time to truly understand my hopes, concerns, and birth preferences, and always made me feel heard and empowered.

During labor and delivery, her presence made all the difference. She was grounding, reassuring, and intuitive — knowing exactly when to step in with encouragement, comfort measures, or advocacy, and when to give space. She supported both me and my partner in such a thoughtful way, helping us feel confident and prepared in moments that could have felt overwhelming.

What stood out most was how deeply she cared. This was never “just a job” to her — she genuinely invested in my experience and well-being. Thanks to her, I felt supported, informed, and strong during one of the most important moments of my life. I am forever grateful and would recommend her to any expecting family without hesitation.

I am so beyond grateful to have had Michelle by my side leading up to and during the birth of my daughter. She was truly the VIP of my birthing team. I felt heard and supported from our very first conversation, which only grew stronger throughout pregnancy and then in labor. There are not enough words to describe how special Michelle is. She has such a calming presence and truly has a gift of helping women to feel at ease, prepared, safe, confident, strong, empowered, advocated for, and so much more. During such an uncomfortable and uncertain time, she repeatedly reminded me of my strength and got me through some of the most difficult moments of my life. I honestly felt like her only client and could not recommend her enough.

Michelle was an absolutely integral part of our birth experience. Not only was she extremely professional, and organized, but her calm, caring and purposeful demeanor were the perfect addition to the birth of Our first child. We loved everything about working with her from the initial meetings to the birth day itself. We cannot imagine our birth without Michelle at this point-- The labor was 24 hours long and she was responsive and active the entire time. Thank you Michelle for everything! ??????

It's hard to put into words how grateful my husband and I are to have found Michelle. At 35 weeks pregnant and with limited time, I was panicking to find a doula. I connected with Michelle through Holistic Beginnings which I found on Doula Match. Fortunately, Michelle was available for our due date and was accommodating in setting times to meet despite only having a few weeks left. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt prepared and positive heading into birth. She shared suggestions and a range of resources for us to reference that included a pain management guide, stages of labor map, a book on how to use a rebozo and she even left us notes she had written to help us time contractions. As first time parents, we felt so much more confident after meeting with her.

I ended up going into labor at 38 weeks and Michelle was our first call! Michelle encouraged me to get up and keep moving which I believe was the key to my dream birth!

At the birthing center, Michelle helped release tension in my lower back and hips with massages and hip squeezes. She brought items for pain management and that helped keep a relaxed calm environment. Michelle noticed I kept tightening and shrugging my shoulders up towards my ears, she reminded me to relax and soften my shoulders down with each contraction. This helped immensely! I was able to shift my focus to release my upper body which helped things move along more quickly.

I had her and my husband working in tandem to support me and they were the absolute dream team! I got my wish of a water birth and had a beautiful baby boy with zero complications not too long after arriving at the birthing center (only 4 hours!).

Michelle embodied our birth plan while providing her own strategies, the perfect balance that led to an incredible birth experience. We can't thank her enough for her guidance and support and hope to have her by our side as we continue to grow our family!
