I can’t recommend Sidsie enough. During labor, she supported me both emotionally and physically—guiding me through different positions and using counter pressure that made a huge difference. She was also wonderful at helping my husband get involved; we both wanted him to be part of the process, but he had never really known what to do before. Her guidance gave him confidence and made the whole experience feel like something we shared together.

Beyond the birth itself, her knowledge and calm presence made me feel safe and cared for throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. The follow-up support after birth was just as meaningful as the birth itself. She is intuitive, encouraging, and deeply knowledgeable—I’m so grateful we had her by our side.

I have known Sidsie for several years, so when I decided to hire a doula, I wanted someone I already trusted and felt comfortable with. My pregnancy was stressful, and she was a huge source of support throughout. She answered my questions, gave me helpful information specific to my situation, and checked in often to see how I was doing. She even came over several times to go over my birth plan and make sure I felt prepared.

During my birth, she was there from the very beginning when I needed her most. She supported me physically by rubbing my shoulders, bringing me a cold compress when I was pushing, helping me change positions with my epidural, and even bringing food for me and my husband. She captured precious videos and photos that I would not have had otherwise, which means so much to me.

After my baby was born, she came to my home, watched my newborn so I could sleep, and followed up to talk through how everything went. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a doula because she is dependable, knowledgeable, and truly cares. I am already planning to hire her for my next birth.

I was heavily debating needing a doula with my 3rd pregnancy, but knowing how important it is to have a proper birth support team I decided to interview Sidsie and instantly felt like she was a great fit! Sidsie has been calm, resourceful, and a huge blessing to my family both before, during, and after my birth. She showed up shortly after me at the hospital, and quickly stepped up as both an emotional and physical support alongside my husband and mom. You can never have too many people in your corner when going through something as life changing and vulnerable as birth! My baby ended up being sunny side and Sidsie assisted me in trying different laboring positions, providing counter pressure, and affirming my ability to birth how I wanted. In the end, my baby flipped and I was able to vaginally deliver him without any complications for either of us! Afterwards Sidsie went and picked up food for us allowing my husband and mom to stay with me at the hospital which was nice. Finally, I enjoyed being able to have someone to talk to about my birth and check-in on me after the fact. So if you, like me, are considering hiring Sidsie as a doula, please meet with her! She is wonderful and I'm very grateful she was able to be my doula! We mothers shouldn't be afraid to ask for help, and I couldn't recommend Sidsie enough.

This was my first baby/birth experience and so knew that I needed all the support I could get. I planned for a home birth so I was very interested in getting a doula to be apart of my birth party. I met with Sidsie and we hit it off so I decided to move forward with her as my doula. She met with me and my husband several times leading up to my birth. She was helpful answering any of me and my husbands questions and concerns. She definitely gave me more confidence going into the birth of my son.
Unfortunately I ended up coming a whole month early and was not able to have the home birth experience that I pictured, through this emotional time for me she was VERY supportive and called and texted me often and even offered to come in person to help comfort me. We decided to meet with her and my midwife at the hospital to get me checked in. Her presents was comforting and also very helpful as some of the questions the doctors or nurses would ask me I either was not clear on or wasn't sure if I could say no. She was always there as I would look to her often for clarification or confidence to make my wants known.
My birth was unique in that my water broke but I didn't feel any contractions for a while. I told Sidsie she was good to go home and attend to her son and I would update her when I needed her. After she left, things escalated quickly and by the time I had her come back I was only about an hour out from having the baby. I wish I had just had her stay with me the whole time because I needed her desperately. When she did come she was comforting and a blessing at my birth. During the first week we were home she was over cleaning and offering to watch baby while we sleep.
Thank you Sidsie for helping me still have a positive birth experience even though it wasn't what I had planned!??

Sidsie and I had a whirlwind of an experience!  When we first met she made me feel comfortable, it felt like meeting a friend for coffee, which was exactly what I was looking for.  I didn't want just anyone to be there for my baby's birth, and I wanted someone who would make me comfortable, confident and show me and my partner tricks that maybe we hadn't heard of or tried.  I also wanted to make sure that my partner felt supported as well and was comfortable as well.  Anyways, Sidsie and I had to jump right into things 3 days later when my water broke early at 37 weeks.  She supported me all day by checking in and offering advice and answering questions I had - she offered to come see me at home during early labor but it was a nasty snow storm so I told her we'd meet when I'd progressed enough to go to the birth center.  Once we got to the center my labor was fast and she was there to support me and Spencer, she literally held my leg when I couldn't, I never had to ask for water and she showed Spencer how he could support me too when he was overwhelmed or unsure.  She helped us capture photos and videos that I will cherish forever and she stayed awhile after to help encourage us with breastfeeding.  All while never stepping too much into the precious newborn air that we were soaking up as a new family of 3.  I am 11 days postpartum now and I've been in touch with her almost daily, she's sent me beautiful quotes and looked up answers to questions, sent me contacts and resources for breastfeeding support and always offered genuine support.  Like I said our relationship was a whirlwind, and I'm grateful she's the one who helped us brave the storm and cross the finish line.  All of my hopes for this birth were fulfilled and Sidsie was a big part of that.

Sidsie is very personable. She is very good at listening to your questions and answering them the best she can. She's seemed to try to learn about the things that are important to you. She is really open to all ideas, not just the ones she favors and is prepared to help in the way that you would like to go for your personalized birthing experience. I enjoyed speaking with her when I was lost about how I wanted to go about having my first baby.

Sidsie played a crucial role in my birthing experience. She came to my home at 4am and came with us to the birth center offering incredible assistance to not just me but also my husband and mom. Unfortunately, after many hours, I had to be transferred to the hospital and ended up with a C-section, but she stayed with us till 6 am the next day after the surgery, making sure I was alright. Despite the unexpected turn of events, Sidsie's assistance was invaluable, at my home, birth center and the hospital.

Her ongoing support extended beyond the birth, as she continued to follow up and provide help. I am immensely grateful for Sidsie's guidance, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a dedicated and understanding doula for their childbirth journey.

Sidsie's impact was so profound that my mom aptly referred to her as an angel. I fully agree with my mom; Sidsie's angelic care meant a lot to us during this important moment in our lives.

I loved having Sidsie as my doula! Her calming presence and knowledge of the birth experience brought so much comfort to both me and my husband during our birthing journey. Sidsie was incredibly aware and attentive to me before, during, and after birth. She helped me work through some of my fears around childbirth and empowered me to successfully navigate an unmedicated hospital birth. She involved my husband in the learning process, offering education and practical tips that helped him confidently participate in the birth. She really focuses on building the couple's bond and their communication. During the birth, she was very aware and calmly helped make suggestions to direct us and advocated for me with the nurses. Sidsie brings both a loving a fierce energy which was exactly what I needed. I would definitely recommend Sidsie!
