We've had Irene support us for both our babies birth, and we are SO incredibly grateful for her! Irene met with us sometime during the 2nd/early 3rd trimester for a time to get to know one another better, and to further review expectations of the pregnancy the closer we enter to the 3rd trimester. I think what I find most helpful after this meeting are the resources Irene sends us home with. She provides a list of prenatal PT, and places that offer prenatal massags and acupuncture. So, the closer I got to the final week's, it was soooo nice to call up any of these places knowing they are vetted and trustworthy. Irene also provides us with a list of "to-dos" After reaching 35 weeks in preparation for birth!! What I appreciate even more is the accessibility we had via text, email or phone call during the final days/hours leading up to when we had to go to the hospital to deliver. Irene wants to know the play by play of contractions and is ready to offer emotional and practical support to get you through the "waiting" game aka whenever baby decides to come. We love Irene and she is truly a God sent! Her care is tender and gentle.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Irene! She was such a blessing to have next to me. It was my first time having a baby, and I loved her calm and loving energy. She would always tell me what’s coming next and that kept my anxiety at bay. Irene’s presence is priceless, I was always skeptical about having a doula and couldn’t justify the price. But after my experience with her now I understand how worth it it was to have her next to me ????
