Having Dominica as our postpartum doula was one of the best decisions we made as new parents. From the moment she entered our home, she brought a calm, reassuring presence that made us feel instantly at ease. She was so sweet and gentle with our baby boy, and incredibly supportive and encouraging to both me and my husband as we navigated those early days of parenthood.

I wasn’t sure I wanted to see anyone immediately postpartum, but I felt comfortable with Dominica right away. She has a great sense of humor, a warm and compassionate nature, and it's clear how deeply she cares about the families she supports. She fit into our lives so seamlessly, and it felt like having a trusted friend by our side.

When our time with her came to an end, I was truly emotional. Dominica had such a profound impact on our transition into parenthood. We’re so grateful for her care, and I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for gentle, caring support during such a vulnerable and special time.

Working with Dominica during my postpartum journey was one of the best decisions I made. From the moment she arrived, her calm and confident demeanor instantly put me at ease. She has a truly grounding presence—exactly what I needed during those early, overwhelming days.

What stood out most was how she consistently put me first, always checking in on my emotional and physical well-being. She asked thoughtful questions and genuinely listened to my answers, never rushing, always holding space for whatever I was feeling. Her emotional support was a lifeline, and she was incredibly responsive whenever I reached out, making me feel cared for and never alone.

Physically, she was amazing—offering gentle belly massages, relaxing scalp massages, and finding small but meaningful ways to help me rest and feel nurtured. She also prepared the most delicious, nourishing meals with clean ingredients. Honestly, those meals became one of my favorite parts of working with her; they were made with such love and care, and they made a real difference in my recovery.

Most importantly, I felt completely safe and comfortable leaving my newborn in her care. She brought a calm confidence to everything she did, and I knew my baby was in the best hands when she was with us.

I can’t recommend Dominica enough. She brings heart, skill, and deep care to her work—something every new parent deserves.

I first connected with Dominica when I hired her for placenta encapsulation and keepsake art during my first pregnancy. The capsules were a huge help during postpartum, and the keepsakes she created were not only beautiful but deeply meaningful.

Later on, I experienced her Closing of the Bones ceremony, and after that, I knew I wanted her as my doula for my second birth. I wanted the full experience, and I’m so glad I made that choice.

She supported me throughout my second pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum in a way that felt truly thoughtful and grounded. She helped me feel more prepared, more confident, and more connected to the process. Her presence is calm, kind, and reassuring—she just brings a really comforting energy that makes a difference during such a vulnerable time.

Her postpartum visits were also a huge help. She cooked the most nourishing meals and created a space where I felt cared for and able to really rest and recover.

She’s warm, humble, and deeply committed to her work. She puts her heart into everything she does. I’m so grateful to have had her support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for care throughout the journey into motherhood!
