When choosing a doula it was important to me that they would get along with my partner, so the three of us could be a team. Upon meeting Riley, she immediately passed the vibe check. From then on, Riley has been with us every step of the way. From birth classes, identifying our birth preferences, when we were thrown several curve balls during labor, and the transition to parenthood. Her knowledge and wisdom has helped guide us to make decisions that aligned with our values and goals. Riley also helped to setup us up for success so the transition of bringing baby home was seamless. Having Riley postpartum has been a blessing, getting those extra hours of sleep and assistance around the home. With all of her tips and tricks, taking care of baby on our own has gone smoothly. If I am blessed to do this all over again, Riley would be my first call.

This was our second pregnancy and our first time working with a doula, and Riley was everything we could have hoped for and more. We wanted someone who could support me, my husband, and our toddler — and she exceeded all expectations.

During labour, Riley was a calm, grounding presence who offered real relief through a long delivery. I was especially grateful for her during the postpartum period — helping me shower, making breakfast for our toddler, doing laundry, and even meal prep.

Riley is proactive, generous, professional, and kind. We feel so lucky she was with us to welcome our second child.

From the moment I came across Riley's website, I knew I wanted to work with her! At first just as a post partum doula until I met her and decided I also wanted her to be a part of my birthing team. Our babe was breech so we ended up with a c-section but we were able to have her in the OR as an additional support person which was super helpful when our little guy was rushed up to the NICU, my husband could be with the baby and I had Riley by my side in recovery! Having Riley's help at home postpartum was amazing and she was happy to lend a hand wherever it was needed. Whether it was washing bottles, folding laundry, or just being on baby duty while we caught up on a few hours of sleep, it meant I was able to regain a little bit of sanity anytime she was at our house. The overnight shifts were a godsend! Riley is incredible and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for any kind of birth/postpartum support!

We did baby classes with Riley! Traditional weekly group classes did not work for our schedules, Riley's schedule flexibility and ability to come to us allowed us to gain critical knowledge about birth and postpartum! Riley was professional, friendly, & incredibly informative. We really enjoyed that the content was more catered to us and we could spend more time talking about things that we were curious or had more questions about. My husband and I both feel way better prepared going into birth & postpartum after our sessions with Riley!

We originally sought out a doula for postpartum care but ended up being convinced of the benefits of having a doula for our birth too. When we met Riley we immediately felt a connection with her. Our biggest concern was finding someone who aligned with our goals which did not fixate on a completely natural birth.

I anticipated potential complications in my pregnancy and unfortunately I ended up being right. Riley's prep discussions helped prepare us (especially my husband) for the birthing and induction process. During labour, she was able to ask the questions we didn't know to ask and she was able to help move me into different positions to try to move baby boy down. She even let my husband get a bit of sleep during labour! Unfortunately we ended up with a c section but thanks to Riley we were prepared for that too! 

I believe Riley was instrumental in helping me avoid birth trauma and we can't wait to continue receiving support from her during the postpartum period.

We had a very unique birth story where I ended up needing to deliver in Calgary which is not where we live. It was quite last minute trying to find a doula that could work with our last minute birth plan changes. That is where Riley comes in. She was a doula angel sent to us to help us navigate a high-risk hospital birth that turned into a c-section which was what we wanted or planned. BUT Riley was the missing piece we needed to help us navigate the medical system, talk us through processes and care for us and our little boy. She is everything we needed and more and we cannot say enough good things about her. Hire this doula!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Riley! From the very first time we met, I knew she was the perfect fit for us. Riley has such a calm and trusting energy that immediately put me at ease, and we connected right away.

During our initial meeting, she took the time to discuss our ideal birth plan in detail and also helped us prepare for alternatives, understanding that things can change in the moment. I appreciated how thoughtful and thorough she was in ensuring we felt prepared and supported. She even introduced us to her backup doula, just in case she couldn’t be available on the big day; her professionalism and care were evident in every step of the process.

On the day of labor, Riley was an incredible advocate for me at the hospital. She made sure I felt comfortable and confident with every decision we made and ensured that I had the opportunity to ask all my questions. Her presence was grounding and reassuring, and I felt empowered knowing she had my back.

Riley was also always available for any questions leading up to the birth, which was such a comfort. Her dedication and support were unmatched, and to this day she still answers my random questions  ?¨ 

If you’re looking for a doula, I 100000% recommend Riley. She is exceptional, and I am so grateful to have had her as part of our journey.

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of having Riley as our postpartum doula for the last three months, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment she started, she became an integral part of our family’s journey into parenthood.

Riley has been an amazing doula! Her calm and relaxed demeanor was an instant fit for us, and helped through our hospital stay. Despite our birth not going to plan, she was flexible and helped to provide postpartum support which was very appreciated! We would absolutely recommend her services to others!

I am so grateful for Riley’s involvement in my pregnancy and delivery. She was comprehensive, thoughtfully getting to know us and our wishes for any possibility leading up to the big day. It was really reassuring knowing that I had a professional, who honoured my wishes, on my side. I know my partner is grateful too because he needed her help to help me right when emotions were running high. Her presence in the delivery room was a breath of fresh air, her energy very calming and reassuring. Her cues were spot on as she collaborated with the nurses to get that baby down and out. I don’t know my labour and delivery would have been as successful as it was with out her. Furthermore, I appreciated her checking in and making sure I was managing with my newborn. I very well might not have been if it were not for the excellent supports, including Riley, I had in place. I would whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

Riley supported me during my home birth with doula Adele Callfas and they were an amazing team! Riley took many gorgeous pictures and videos to memorize this experience but also helped with everything else that needed to be taken care of during the birth and afterwards. 

If you are looking for a doula who is caring, compassionate, non-judgmental and has all the knowledge about pregnancy, birth and postpartum - Riley is for you! It was really easy to connect with her and she has a great sense of humor that you will need during birth.

I highly recommend Riley!

Very much appreciate Riley’s words of support and kindness during my labour. Her help and advice has made a difference in the journey of not being so scared, figuring out my decisions, and making a difference for my baby.

Even after her helping to bring milk to the NICU will help my baby to grow and continue to help her get rid of their jaundice. ????

The post-partum support we had with Riley was incredible. She went above and beyond, thoughtfully finding resources and support with some struggles we were having with our little one. Riley was an absolutely amazing doula!!! She was the most supportive and helpful person leading up to, during and after the birth. She was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and available. She is part of the reason my baby’s birth went as smoothly as it did. (Without getting into too much detail - there could have been some major concerns had she not been there.) We are so thankful we chose her to help us welcome our first baby into the world!

At first, I didn’t think I wanted a doula. I was using midwives and didn’t think a doula would be necessary. However, after reading stats on how doulas can help reduce C-section rates -and knowing I wanted a VBAC- I decided to have Riley be my doula anyway. I’m so happy I did as Riley was an essential part of our team! She provided my husband and I with just enough support while also allowing us space to do our thing. She was as involved as we wanted her to be from giving massages and speaking affirmations during labour to feeding me toast while I held my newborn baby after his birth. She sat with me before my labour discussing my fears and hopes, and in the days following my labour she sat with me and processed all that had happened with me. I’m so grateful for how she supported me through the whole experience and look forward to having her at any future births I may have.
