Doula Training

Type of practice: Partnership with 2 or more doulas

Clients per month: 1 to 4 births and 0 to 1 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: I attend births in all locations. Home birth center and hospital. I specialize in Hospital Births and have extensive experience with the local hospitals. Max 4 nights a week of postpartum care I do not look after older siblings during overnight care I will do light clean up (bottles, dishes and wash/ fold some laundry) but do not provide maid services. I provide fully awake care and do not sleep during postpartum overnight care time.

I enjoy mentoring new doulas in Austin (Central Texas) area and I write materials about labor, delivery, postpartum care and doula work.

Fee Details

My birth package includes 2 one hour prenatal appointments in your home. Your birth (the entire duration, I do not charge per hour, it takes as long as it takes!) One postpartum visit in your home or via Zoom ( your choice). For an additional fee I offer childbirth classes in your home. - Austin Doula Care / Support ( Central Texas )
