Daniella was a wonderful doula helping us navigate those early days as new parents. It made such a difference to have someone at our side who had experience in the newborn phase - and who was able to provide us with hours of sleep those first few weeks.
She always seemed to know when we needed someone to talk to or when we needed some space.
Daniella’s calm and joyful personality filled our house with wonderful energy. And it always comforted me to hear her caring for my son with so much tenderness and love, as I managed to get some rest.

We had a wonderful experience with Danielle as our postpartum doula supporting us as we welcomed our second child into our family. Daniella worked with us in the evenings, primarily allowing us (parents) to rest/sleep deeply, knowing our son was being well cared-for while maintaining our rhythm of nursing. Danielle was a soothing, calm presence and our baby immediately took to them. Daniella was attuned to our babies needs - for example, if they just weren’t ready to sleep yet, or were extra fussy and needed to get some cries out, or just in need of some snuggles. Daniella was also a great coach and encourager offering an ear and advice as we experienced the ups and downs of newborn life. If the baby slept, Daniella leant an extra hand keeping the house running so we could spend more time with our oldest child and our baby rather than worrying about dishes or laundry. These small acts added up to giving us more time to enjoy as a family and integrate our newest member! Daniella would be a blessing to any family. We are grateful for our time with them!

Daniella provided excellent postpartum doula care for our whole family. They did a great job of collaborating with us to create a plan that worked for our family's specific goals and needs. We particularly appreciated their style of direct, open, and compassionate communication. They brought laughter, tenderness, and joyful energy into our home. Daniella is warm, attuned, passionate about their work, and brings a wealth of specialized knowledge to this sacred and transitional time for families. We had a wonderful experience working with them and highly recommend their support.

Daniella was our night doula from January 2022 through April 2022. She was fantastic. She was prompt, reliable and seemed to be able to read our energies when she showed up and adapted herself to what we needed. If you want to chat, she was ready...if you wanted to sleep, she was fine with that too. Despite taking baby classes, she really taught us everything we knew about our newborn...what direction she wanted to be held, wanting warmer PJs/sleep sacks, adjusting her room to her liking, making her changing table warmer, etc. If the baby was sleeping, she'd also help with post partum snacks for mom, put some laundry in or wash some dishes in the kitchen. We lived for the nights that she was with us and her calmness and help gave us the sanity to be better parents to our baby. Would choose Danielle over and over again!

Daniella entered our lives at a very fragile and overwhelming time: a few days after the birth of our first child. Her tenderness, quiet confidence, healing touch and invitation to be vulnerable made an enormous impact on our lives and for that we are incredibly grateful. I don't think we would have made it through those early months without her as our night doula. Most importantly, she was incredible with our newborn baby. He was so calm in her arms (and even on the changing table), clearly benefitting from her gentleness, lullabies and calm energy. I knew he was safe and well taken care of while she was over, and that allowed me to get essential rest. Daniella was always respectful of our plans and wishes for the evenings she was in our home, whether we wanted to pump and bottle feed, nurse, where we wanted to sleep, etc. We spent many hours together in the middle of the night talking and crying (my tears, not hers) and I always felt so safe and comforted with her around. She is a great listener, and offered a lot of helpful guidance and wisdom without being overbearing. During such an emotionally overwhelming and physically challenging time, Daniella brought a lot of much-needed love, care and kindess into our home. I would highly recomend Danielle as a newborn night doula.

Daniella was my baby's doula from about 2mo to 4mo old. She quickly stepped in after my previous night doula had to end out contract early due to another client. Daniella was wonderful - I wish we had found her sooner! She was very flexible with scheduling, which we needed, and had a very gentile and calming way about her that helped keep a calm vibe in the house. She was very sweet and gentile with my baby Juniper and helped enable me to get much needed rest at night. Daniella was receptive to my desires/needs (ie encouraging Juniper to sleep a little longer in between feedings so I could get a bit more sleep!) and really helped me and Juniper in her transition in dropping feeds.

As first time parents, we had no idea what to expect with a newborn. In our search for a doula, we were looking for someone who was warm, compassionate, flexible, understanding, and great with communication. Daniella exceeded our expectations on all fronts. Each night and day they spent with us and our daughter, they brought a lightness into our home. They were open and vulnerable in ways that engendered trust. They showed everyone in our family love. Most importantly, they showed our daughter love and made us feel safe.
There was a level of care and respect, both for themselves and for our family, that gave us ongoing confidence in our relationship. I would recommend Daniella to anyone looking for this kind of support.

Daniella hosted a Mother's Blessing for me. It was an incredible gift to have her lead my friends and I through the process, which was all new to us. She created a beautiful setting and curated a series of activities that encouraged us to open up, be more vulnerable, and ask each other for the support that we need. It truly connected us all in a deeper way and I think it really opened our eyes to what we were missing and how easy it is to get, if we're brave enough to ask. It helped set the stage for a beautiful birth experience and more supported postpartum recovery than I had with my first child.

Daniella stepped in to help us with overnight doula services when my daughter was born three weeks early. She was incredibly kind, calm, and confident during this amazing but challenging time. We always knew our daughter would receive loving care when she woke in the night and it enabled us to get much needed rest. Daniella brings a sense of serenity into your home with her and I definitely recommend her as a doula. It meant a lot when she reached out to check on us months later; she truly cares for the families she helps out.

Daniella is a natural and talented postpartum doula who supported me and my husband with our first newborn baby when we had very little help our support due to the pandemic. Daniella brought an energy of care, focus, and structure to the chaotic and challenging time that is adjusting to life with an infant and recovering from birth. They taught us so much about what the body needs to heal, the optimal conditions for a baby to sleep and burp and rest, etc, and cooked me the most delicious and nourishing food that she would serve to me *in bed* usually with flowers on top. Any family is lucky to work with Daniella!

“I wish that everyone has the privilege to feel the tenderness and warmth of Daniella’s doula care. They held not only me and baby F, in this tender time but our entire family, (our dog & cat included ??)! Always beautifying the space, helping to prepare nourishing food, making sure my water or tea was full, helping with house chores, and bringing a playful & positive energy into our home!
We contracted their services for support as I returned to work when our babe was around 6mo old. We knew we needed more than just “childcare” and felt so held and supported by Daniella through it all. Although we were a bit more fortified than the tender early postpartum days, the emotional transition was challenging and Daniella was intuitive and attuned to helping us navigate this transition- offering time to check in on me and my partner emotionally, offering gentle suggestions to the ever changing baby/ new parenting landscape, and most of all tuning in to our daughter’s cues to advocate for her needs. She held our daughter in the brightest light possible, meeting her in pure joy and play as well as holding space for her big emotions and valued needs. Daniella loved her like she was family, which is more than I could have ever asked for. We love you Tia Yella!”
