Birth is a transformative experience that should be rooted in autonomy, informed choice, compassion, and community support. Every birthing person deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Through education, advocacy, emotional support, and evidence-based care, I believe families should have the tools and confidence to shape their own birth experience—whether it unfolds exactly as planned or takes unexpected turns. As a mother of three daughters, including twins born of a high-risk pregnancy, I understand firsthand the importance of feeling supported, informed, and centered in your care. As a certified full-spectrum doula and lactation educator, I support families across every stage of the reproductive journey with compassionate, culturally responsive care that honors both the physical and emotional experience of birth and postpartum. Having breastfed each of my daughters for two years, I also understand the value of patient, informed, and judgment-free feeding support. My philosophy is grounded in the belief that birth is not just a medical event—it is a deeply personal, life-changing experience. You deserve informed choices, unwavering support, and care that centers your voice every step of the way. Whether you’re planning your ideal birth, exploring your options, or preparing for the unexpected, A Village Doula is here to provide the guidance, reassurance, education, and advocacy you need. Because birth isn’t just something you go through—it’s something you help shape.
I would be your primary doula. I charge a flat rate and packages range from $1000 to $2500 with each package including, unlimited phone/email/text support, continuous support when in labor, approx. 1-1.5 hours immediate postpartum support, and follow up session once home. While I would be your primary doula, you would have access to my private back-up doula network in the event I was at another birth, ill, or otherwise unavailable. The doula fee can be broken up into payments, one at the time I am hired (a retainer fee to reserve your spot) and the balance at 36 weeks as you enter the window to deliver. Looking for reimbursement from insurance? I can provide my certifications and invoicing. I’m also PA-Medicaid Approved.
