Knowledgeable, patient, accessible- Chelsea is the definition of top notch. My experience with her as a first time mom was honestly nothing short of exceptional. Through all my moments of doubt and double guessing she was so supportive and reassuring. I was most grateful that I chose her to be my doula while I was in labour. I ended up having to be induced because I was a week and a half past my due date and chose to get an epidural. Both of these events were not at all in my birth plan. After a few hours in labour with very slow progression, Chelsea asked the nurse for assistance to get me on my knees, staying in an upright position using the hospital bed as support. Then she started doing some compressions and massages on my back and backside area. Literally within 10 minutes my water broke and within 20 minutes I delivered my baby. I was mind blown. She not only supported and guided me through the diversion in my birth plan, she cut my labour time significantly and saved me insurmountable headache. Insurmountable because at the time of delivery the umbilical cord was double wrapped around my baby's neck. Only God knows what would've happened if my labour was anymore delayed. If you're looking for a doula, Chelsea is your person. 100000%
