My husband and I hired Cleo a bit late in the game (tail end of third trimester), after debating for a while about whether we even needed a doula. I can honestly say that I’m so glad with the decision. We didn’t know exactly what we were looking for in a doula, but once we had our initial meet and greet with Cleo, we felt so at ease, and appreciated her focus on advocating for our decisions and choices - whatever they may be. Cleo was knowledgeable, never judgmental, and provided assurance and encouragement every step of the way. She also helped my husband better support me during labor, which was so important. Even when things needed to deviate from my birth plan, she made me feel assured and safe, rolling with the punches by our side at the hospital.

We also hired Cleo for postpartum care, and her knowledge and experiences (both as a doula and a mom of 3) were invaluable for us sleep-deprived first time parents. From showing me how to baby wear to just letting me get a nap in, Cleo was fantastic. I'd highly recommend her!

We were incredibly fortunate to have Cleo as our backup doula, and despite the unexpected early arrival of our baby girl, she proved to be an absolute godsend. We met Cleo for the first time on the very day of my labor, and from the moment she arrived, her calm, caring demeanor and gentle conversation helped take my mind off the contractions.

Cleo came to our home and guided me through every step of the labor with incredible skill and empathy. At one point, she applied a TENS machine, which made my contractions much more bearable. By the time we arrived at the hospital, I was already 9.5cm dilated—a testament to the amazing support she provided.

In the birthing room, Cleo continued to be a pillar of strength. She offered constant encouragement, helpful feedback, and thoughtful nourishment, making sure I stayed hydrated and energized during the pushing stage. Her ability to work seamlessly with our medical team ensured that our birth preferences were respected, which was so important to us.

Thanks to Cleo’s guidance, and the support of the rest of my incredible birthing team, I was able to have the birth experience I had always hoped for—natural, without an epidural, and with minimal interventions or complications.

I cannot recommend Cleo enough. Her presence turned what could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience into a beautiful, empowering journey. We are forever grateful for her support and care.

I hired Cleo for my third birth after researching many local Doulas. I felt a connection with Cleo ‘s website and that she had so much experience and knowledge about both homebirth and hospital birth. As I would be alone at the hospital, my biggest priority was having a Doula to be with me during the labour either at home or later in the hospital. Cleo came to the hospital as soon as I asked her to, which meant a lot to me. And even when my induction got a bit long, she kept the mood good. I felt Cleo really knew what I needed without me having to say. Not only did she help me advocate for myself when I was tired and feeling stressed, but I could tell she had a lot of experience in this situation and she went to put some music on for example, which helps to keep my mood lighter and add a little bit of fun to the situation when I really needed it. These are the little touches I would not have thought about when hiring a Doula but really made a big difference to me when I think back to my birth. Cleo’s skill really shone when I started having harder contractions and was feeling tired. Her TENS machine was a great asset and Cleo used skillful touch and words to help me manage the pain. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cleo as a birth or post- partum doula to anyone. She is gentle, skilled, patient yet with a gift of a powerful knowledge of birth.

I was so fortunate to have Cleo as a part of my home water birth experience. She's so approachable, knowledgeable, and professional. She has excellent intuition and is therefore very measured in her involvement during the pregnancy and the birth. I appreciated her capabilities of knowing when to step in and when to allow space. I also used the birth pool Cleo has on hand which was a wonderful experience. Cleo was so helpful in getting it set up and making sure we had it ready to go well before my due date just in case. If I ever decide to have another baby, I wouldn't want to do it without Cleo!

I’m grateful to have Cleo as part of my birth team. She was very knowledgeable, easily accessible, and had access to many helpful resources. My confidence in my ability to give birth grew because of her, and she really helped guide my husband on how to best support me. I especially appreciated Cleo checking up on me, as well as her ability to calm and encourage me. Because she's a mother herself, I knew I could trust her advice. I would highly recommend Cleo to anyone considering a doula.
