First of all, You gotta check out Julia's instagram! She shares great content on labor, postpartum and motherhood. My experience with Julia was straightforward, organized, and personal which I loved! From our first call, I could tell she genuinely cares about her clients and loves her job. Julia is a great listener and wants to understand your "WHY" to help you achieve your desired birth experience. Julia is not only very personable but also professional which I feel can be a little hard to find. She will send you resources throughout your pregnancy and stay on top of things. Overall, I would highly recommend Julia :) she helped me acomplish my unmedicated bvac and was a great addition to our birth team. Thank you Julia! You rock ♥?

Julie was so wonderful throughout my entire pregnancy, which was full of unexpected challenges. She was always there to help me navigate decisions I needed to make, and provide support in whatever choice I made. I ended up having to have a c section at 34 weeks due to complications, and she came with about 2 hours notice to support me. I was so glad to have her by my side when my husband went with my baby to the NICU. I highly recommend working with Julie!

Julie is the BEST, most supportive doula!!!
From the beginning, Julie was very personable and made my husband and I feel comfortable with trusting her. During the prenatal visits, she helped address various topics that may come up during birth and helped my husband and I create plans for different situations.
During my 37-hour labor, she was present the entire time through texts initially and then stayed at the hospital with us for over 24 hours during active labor! She remained positive even when challenges arose with needing an epidural after my cervix regressed at the very end. Julie was there to encourage, relieve my husband with applying counterpressure, recommend labor positions based on how I was progressing, and be a friend to laugh with after getting the nitrous oxide and, later on, the epidura. Julie made me feel heard and validated the entire time.
I can't imagine going through labor without Julie's encouragement and guidance throughout the process! I would recommend Julie to anyone!!!

I am so thankful I found Julie to be my doula for my second birth. I had so much going on personally that I didn't find her until the end of my pregnancy but from the beginning I felt I could tell her anything and she understood and listened really well. Throughout the birth I felt she was my partner from beginning to end, she was my constant with either words of encouragement and affirmations (without being pushy) as well as physically she gave me so much more support than I even expected. Even my sister who was there remarked she didn't expect a doula to support like she did! I mean she was there to give me the hip squeeze and coach me through breathing when I needed it. At one point I remember we were spooning and I thought this must look weird but it was the best! Haha she partnered really well with my midwife and helped coach my husband gently with how to support me. I'm so thankful for her and if we ever have another baby will not hesitate to reach out to her again :)

If you are on the fence about getting a doula DO IT. Julie was absolutely amazing and I would pick her again tomorrow. From the moment we had our phone interview I knew she would be someone I wanted on my birth team. The amount of education she gives you helps you be at peace. Without her I wouldn't have switch from an OB at 36 weeks to a midwife. I knew I wanted a natural birth but she helped me overcome my fear of having my daughter at home. She was so wonderful from start to finish.

I chose Julie as my doula for my October 2023 birth and am so happy I did! She took a genuine interest in learning why I wanted the birth that I communicated as well as listening to my prior birth experience. She is very knowledgeable and a great resource for information without pushing her opinions. I felt very confident and at ease leading up to labor and delivery knowing I would have her there every step of the way.

As first time parents, my husband and I had a great experience with Julie! We took her childbirth class, which was very informative, and she presented the content in a laidback and professional way. This time together gave us an opportunity to get to know her better. Throughout my pregnancy, she made herself available for questions that came up and pointed us towards evidence-based resources to help us make informed decisions, especially when we were told our baby was measuring small, and I might need to be induced. Once I was in labor, she came to our house at 2 am and offered several strategies as labor progressed. Even though things didn't end up exactly as we envisioned when we got to the hospital, Julie helped us think through the best way to move forward. We are grateful for the support and encouragement Julie offered us before and during our son's birth, and it was helpful to process everything with her during our postpartum visit. Thank you, Julie!

From the very start, Julie became a key member of our birth team. Her knowledge and calm but confident spirit made my husband and I feel secure as we learned the birthing process and techniques through her.
In my late pregnancy she was continually available and answered all my questions and hesitations which gave me so much peace of mind in a time where one is worried about every little change and issue.
When my labor and birth plan started going sideways, she was such a grounding force. She guided my husband and mom to use the techniques we practiced, helped me reposition the baby after long hours back laboring, and steadied my mind and spirit so I could labor for as long as I medically could without intervention. Even when we ultimately had to make difficult choices, she was present, calm, and focused so she could help my husband and I think through our options with a clear head.
Post partum she was a Godsend because she made herself available even when I was in the pits of feeding struggles. She helped me process my birth, my feeding journey, and all the feelings so I could grieve and allow myself to breathe in this new role as a mother. I am so grateful to have had her support; she is truly a huge factor as to why I have continued providing breast milk for my baby despite all the struggles. It's like she took everything and gave me permission to be the mom my baby and I needed.
She is a blessing of a doula, a kind motivator, a powerful support, and a present and empathetic guide. My husband and I couldn't have had the positive birth moments we had without her. If I had the choice to do it again, I would pick Julie in a heartbeat and without hesitation.

Julie was a crucial part of my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I felt comfortable with her from day one and knew I could come to her with any questions, anxieties, or fears. She provided us with we helpful resources along the way, and once I was in labor, she stayed connected via text until it was time for us to meet up in person. During labor, she was an advocate, a trusted friend, and a calming presence. She stayed with us in person at the hospital for a little bit postpartum, and stayed connected even longer via text and our postpartum follow-up. I am so glad we had Julie as part of our pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum support team, and I can't recommend her enough!

Highly recommend Julie as a doula. She is warm, friendly and receptive to how you want your birth to go. She offered advice that we didn't get anywhere else and was very supportive before, during and after the birth.

Julie stepped into our lives as an overnight postpartum doula during a stressful season of postpartum recovery. We had medical complications with the birth that required mom to be on modified bedrest and the timeline of healing was unknown.
Julie handled the chaos of an unknown recovery and a newborn with grace and understanding. She ensured mom was able to get rest at night, all while keeping baby safe and assisting with light household chores.
Julie was/is an essential part of postpartum recovery. We consider her like family.

Working with Julie was amazing! She responds quickly and is the best support. She worked with us as we moved to the area at 34 weeks pregnant and didn't hire her until 38 weeks. Julie out meeting me a priority and walked through high blood pressure with me and my doctor trying to induce me multiple times before I or baby was ready. She was the perfect amount of giving advice, perspective, supporting my thoughts and feelings, and helping us to know facts to make smart decisions. My labor was 2.5hrs long from first contraction I felt to holding my precious little girl. Julie coached my husband through the whole process and many times afterwards he has said how valuable it was having her there. She truly helped him be the perfect support I needed throughout birth. I can not recommend her more!!
