As a first-time mom, I was unprepared for many aspects of motherhood when I returned home from the hospital when my daughter was born in March. Camila was our night doula, and she was my saving grace during this huge transition. She did an excellent job caring for my newborn, but her support went far beyond that.

Camila helped me establish a feeding and sleeping routine and introduced me to essential tools and resources that I was unaware of. She was a constant advocate for both me and my daughter. Because of the support she provided during such a vulnerable time, Camila holds a special place in my family’s heart. I highly recommend working with her and she is amazing.

We recently had Camila as our day doula, and her support was incredibly helpful. From the start, she was so nice, brought a sense of calm and competence to our home, which was very reassuring during such a hectic time.

Camila was knowledgeable and provided practical help with taking care of our baby. She assisted with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, diaper changes, and soothing techniques, which made us feel more confident as new parents. Her advice and help on all the first things we encountered, from bath time to sleep schedules, were incredibly helpful.

In addition to caring for our baby, she also helped with cleaning of bottles, pump parts and doing babies laundry. Camila was very flexible and willing to adapt to our needs and schedule, which made a big difference.

Overall, Camila’s support made our postpartum period so much more manageable. We highly recommend her services to any new parent looking for knowledgeable and practical help.

I highly recommend Camila Fernandes for the position of a postpartum doula. My family and I had the privilege of working with Camila after the birth of our child, and she was an invaluable resource to us during that crucial and sensitive time.

When our baby was born early, she was thoughtful and accommodating when it came to changing the dates of our engagement on short notice. Throughout our time with her, she was flexible, reliable and punctual, even while going through challenging personal circumstances including a move.

We found Camila to be caring and compassionate, yet practical and action-oriented. As an example, she happily held our baby all night when needed, but also worked with us to get on a schedule towards better nighttime sleep. She also created an environment where we felt comfortable sharing our needs and asking for specific kinds of help. I also found Camila supportive, non-judgemental, and proactive in researching and recommending solutions to specific challenges while breastfeeding.

In conclusion, Camila is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and reliable postpartum doula who made a significant difference to my postpartum journey. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family in need of postpartum support and care. Camila’s dedication, expertise, and genuine concern for the well-being of new parents and their newborns makes her an invaluable asset to any family.

I had the pleasure of working closely with her during the first 3 weeks of my baby being born, and was consistently impressed by her professionalism, expertise, and compassionate approach to supporting new mothers and families.

Camila, was a huge help to our family. She watched our newborn for 6 weeks at nighttime. During this time she also helped us prep our daughter to sleep in her own crib and gave lots of helpful advice on breastfeeding and strategies for getting our daughter to latch. Camila was always easy to get a hold of and was always friendly and polite. She was also flexible if we needed to move times around here and there. We would absolutely recommend her to others. Lastly she got along great with our dog

Camila is an incredible person! Let alone night doula. She helped us with our first born starting when he was 2 weeks old for 12 weeks. She has a calm and kindness that is so helpful is those stark sleep deprived nights. She is knowledgeable and offers so much sage advice, always backed by evidence, without being pushy. She always respected what we wanted for our son and was very helpful and sweet. I'm honestly sad she's no longer part of our routine and it's not for the sleep! She is so wonderful and I will definitely call on her again should we have another little one one day.
