Upon deciding to collaborate, I commit to offering emotional support, childbirth education, and evidence-based information. Our birth support involves two prenatal visits to address queries, discuss labor intentions, and cover comfort measures. I'll be present at your chosen birth location, supporting you during labor and staying for an hour post-birth. Within days, I'll visit your home for a post-birth check-in, offering feeding support and light meal prep. Postpartum support is included, and we can discuss additional needs. I've completed full-spectrum training with Birthing Advocacy and am finalizing my Lactation Counselor training at UC San Diego.

I found Alex here on doulamatch and was glad she was the doula to my newborn. Alex made me feel comfortable during the interview and seemed very relatable. As a doula, she's timely, responsive, and positive. She follows up on my wellbeing and even after our contract. There is just absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about Alex. I would definitely reach out to Alex again if I have another baby... and would highly recommend her.

We had the pleasure of having Alex as our overnight doula, and she was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment she stepped into our home, her warm and calming presence was felt throughout the house.
Alex has a unique ability to create a serene environment, which made a world of difference during those early, often stressful nights. One of the most remarkable aspects of Alex's care was her talent for soothing our little one to sleep. Her calm energy helped our baby feel safe and secure, ensuring he was well-fed and comfortable throughout the night. She was incredibly attentive to our wishes, always respecting our parenting choices and routines.
Thanks to Alex's dedication, we were able to get much-needed rest, knowing our baby was in capable and loving hands.
Moreover, her culinary skills were a delightful bonus! Alex prepared the most creative, tasty, and healthy breakfasts for our family, adding a touch of joy to our mornings.
We are immensely grateful for Alex's support and highly recommend her to any family in need of a compassionate and skilled overnight doula. She truly made a difference in our lives, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Alex was my doula for my Dec 2023 baby. I’m a first time mom and I knew I needed additional support, but I was unsure how to fully utilize a doula. Alex explained the process, had thoughtful questions, and provided a warm presence from our first meeting. Alex checked in with me after my doctor’s appointments and helped with clarifying health questions to ask. My little one came 2 weeks early and Alex was there every step of the way. She provided a wonderful ambiance for our hospital room and really pushed me to try different positions and techniques through labor. To everyone’s surprise, my baby was born sunny side up after hours of pushing. I felt like giving up many times- I honestly think that without Alex, I would’ve had a c-section. I’m thankful to Alex and the role she played in my care team!

Working with Alex as my doula was a blessing from start to finish. As a first-time expectant mother, I sought someone who could provide support and calm throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. From our first meeting, Alex's professionalism and dedication were evident. She listened attentively, offering compassionate guidance and empowering me every step of the way.
Throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum, Alex was an integral part of my support team. Her intuitive understanding and unwavering support provided comfort and reassurance during uncertain times. During labor, her calming presence and support helped me navigate with confidence. Even in the postpartum period, Alex continued to be a pillar of support, offering guidance and encouragement.
I wholeheartedly recommend Alex to anyone seeking a doula who is skilled, professional, compassionate, and supportive. Thank you, Alex, for your exceptional support and dedication!

Alex is a phenomenal doula! She is there every step of the way. She's extremely informative when it comes to fetal and maternal care. Alex is also very personable and my husband and I admire that alot. She sends over so many informative materials and is all ears when you may have any questions or concerns. The way she displays different ways to help ease labor is reassuring. She is extremely easy to talk to and the conversations are always fun! She cares deeply for her mothers and is super supportive to both partners. She is very on top of things and makes sure Mama has things checked off her lists. She's open to alternatives according to the parents and that put me and my husband at ease. She's great with creating docs to help mom and dad (partners) prepare for labor (birthing plan). All in all, Alex is an angel on earth and for as long as we know, she will forever be our doula for our future babies!

Alex is kind, knowledgeable, gentle, respectful and empathetic. I recommend her practice to anyone but especially to trauma survivors who struggle with being touched. She will help you stay calm and grounded in triggering situations. I chose to do a hospital birth and it was extremely difficult for me. Alex helped me remember what I needed and say no to induction, which I believe would have led me to an unwanted c section. She'll help you advocate for yourself if you want a "natural" birth, but she's not going to judge you if you choose to get an epidural (I did even though I thought I wouldn't). I'm so grateful she was there for us and that she was one of the first people to hold our baby.

I was expecting my first child in July, and just like all first time moms I found my self scared and anxious at the thought of labor! Specially since I had experienced my sisters labor & delivery in a Long Island hospital. Disappointedly birth in America is seen more as an emergency and a business, that the process itself can be downright chaotic. An event that is supposed to be a beautiful experience in a women's life often gets skewed by a snowball of unnecesary interventions. Therefore, I knew I wanted a doula, to serve as an advocate and emotional/ physical support, and was lucky to come across Alex. From our first session to the last, Alex was always insightful and took the time to hear out all my concerns and found ways to help me. She further expanded my knowledge on labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborns and gave me outside resources when I wanted more. During labor she pulled out all the works, from candles to music, she set the mood in my delivery room and everyone from doctors to nurses appreciated walking in. From awesome foot massages to words of encouragement she always made sure I was priority and her constant attention greatly helped to put my mind at ease, I knew I could achieve labor the way I dreamed, but she helped make it happen for me and without her I don't believe it would've been as successful as it was.

Working with Alex has been a great experience and I highly recommend her as a Doula!
As a new parent I was so grateful for all the support I could get. There are an abundance of things to figure out and I couldn't have done it alone. Becoming a mom is hard especially in the first couple of weeks. It's not just learning how to take care of the baby but also how to settle into the new role as a mom.
Alex was super supportive during that time and I appreciate how reliable and flexible she was. She helped me with household chores, always had practical tips for my little one and her massages allowed me to relax.
If you're looking for a Doula, I absolutely recommend Alex! She is a wonderful listener, kind and compassionate.

From our initial zoom interview with Alex, we knew she was the right choice to be our doula. As first time parents, we felt more than a little out of our depth, and Alex was so good at answering all of our questions and just making us feel like we were equipped to handle everything, going over every eventuality. She was with us through a birth that didn't go quite as planned, with a failed epidural, thirty six hours of labor, and a c-section. But Alex's steady presence made it all so much better than it could have been. From writing out a birth plan to constant encouragement and hand-holding during contractions, she was there for every step, and we couldn't be more grateful to her for helping us bring our little boy into the world.
