As a first time mom, it was very important to my husband and I that we hire a doula to help prepare us for the different stages of pregnancy, child birth and taking care of a newborn. Doula Priya exceeded our expectations of what we were looking for in a Doula. Her professional medical background, down to earth personality, and referral to community resources helped us to feel comfortable and trusting of her practice. I’d definitely recommend Doula Priya to any expecting moms (especially first time moms).

Priya has been my doula for two of my births, and she’s truly amazing! Both experiences were high-risk, but she was steady, calm, and supportive through it all. When things changed unexpectedly, she always spoke up and advocated for what I needed, making sure my wishes were respected. I love Priya! I would recommend her to anybody & everybody looking for a supportive & knowledgeable doula! She is highly informative, a great addition to your support system & I felt super cared for & comforted throughout my pregnancy & labor/delivery process. I am now in my post partum phase & I love knowing I have her to lean on if I need help, need company while I tend to my baby if I am alone & for any further questions I have. My husband also felt supported in her knowledge as well so he can be there for me the best he can. I planned for a natural birth & she educated me on everything I needed to know & to also advocate for myself & for my husband to as well if I couldn't do it. I ended up needing to get a c-section & she had tons of knowledge with that as well & really helped me to understand the process all the way through. Again, she is comforting in the way that I was not scared or feeling completley vulnerable in going into the hospital with the possibility of getting a c-section or having a natural birth being 50/50.

After delivering four of my own children. I decided to do a surrogacy, while fulfilling a family’s desire to have a baby I also wanted to fulfill my desire to birth unmedicated and with more structure. I wanted to call the shots. I didn’t want to feel forced to get the epidural, or I feel like didn’t have a say on anything. I knew I needed guidance and help through it; especially the laboring. So I reached out to Priya, and it was a total game changer. Having her for extra support was behind helpful. I felt powerful through my surrogacy journey, down to the very end of labor and delivering. If you are thinking of getting a doula, Priya is your girl!

Priya was an incredible support throughout my pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Having her by my side during labor gave me so much comfort and reassurance, and I truly loved having her there with me through it all. She has such a calm and steady presence, and I always felt comfortable turning to her with any questions or concerns. She provided thoughtful resources, prepared me for what to expect, and was there afterwards to make sure both baby and I were adjusting well.

Her flexibility and genuine care truly stood out — whether in person or virtually, she always made herself available and made me feel heard and supported. She went above and beyond, from bringing me flowers and goodies during postpartum recovery to checking in on me every single day. One of the most special moments for me was having her there to help cut the cord for Ouray, something I’ll always treasure. Having her as my doula gave me confidence and peace of mind during such an important time. I’m so thankful for her guidance and would highly recommend Priya to anyone considering doula care.

Priya was not only an absolute delight, but essential. As a first time mom I had a lot of anxiety about starting my journey into motherhood. You know when you go to the Dr's and they ask, " So do you have any questions for me"? I don't know about you but my mind goes blank. If I don't write them down I have no idea what to ask. Let alone the fact this is my first time. What do you ask when you barely have an idea where to start. I'm the kind of person who does a lot of research on every question I have when it comes to mind, especially for something as important as becoming a parent. There is an overwhelming amount of conflicting information. Every case is so specialized its hard to know what is correct for you or not. Having a doula, especially Priya was an invaluable resource for me. She walked me through so many topics, resources, and hands on examples to gear me up for this journey. She was very open and honest. I felt that every session was thorough. I appreciated the room to sit and discuss certain topics and ask all the questions. It was comforting to know I had a professional who's goal is to be on my side and advocate for me. She even prioritized having my husband's involvement and educated him on not only how to support me but how she could be a support to him. During my delivery she made the environment so calming. Lights, essential oils, and always comforted me. She breathed with me and made sure I was aware of every step. I seriously appreciate her. And knowing I have access to her even after I birthed my daughter has also given me so much comfort. If at any point I feel I need support or have questions she has been very responsive and even takes the initiative to reach out to me just to check in. I couldn't recommend her services enough. ??

PRIYA is ABSOLUTELY the best. She was referred by my therapist. As my doula, she helped me advocate or myself and my newborn. During our virtual and in person meetings she was ALWAYS informative and ALWAYS asked if i had any questions before the meeting was completed. With this being my first pregnancy, she gave me signs and things to look out for before labor and gave me golden nuggets with lactation and latching.

If you are considering getting a doula, Priya is the best! I was a little on the fence about doula services however after meeting her, I knew I made the right decision. She is very flexible with appointments in person or over video calls to educate about pregnancy, the birth process, newborn care, and provided many helpful resources. She is easy to reach in case of any questions or concerns and is so supportive throughout the whole process. It's difficult to find such caring providers but Priya really does care about each family she helps. I truly believe that I wouldn't have had the birth I wanted without her support.

Priya is an amazing doula! We so appreciated all her help and knowledge she shared with us along the journey and so many resources we felt confident having our first little one! Her being there at the hospital for two days was outstanding, she helped so much with the communication with nurses and supporting my husband to help me and just getting right in there and doing the things we didn’t even know we needed or would help. I was very glad to have Priya with us at the birth of my son. He came a few weeks early and she made sure that I understood what was happening and that the drs were following my wishes. She started before the induction and also continued for the week following when he was in the NICU. She is passionate about what she does and it shows!

I am a mom of 4 , I never had a doula until my 4th pregnancy, it was life changing. I wish I would've found Priya sooner. I had traumatic experiences with my previous pregnancies. I was full of anxiety's and fears but Priya helped so much I came to her with a lot of questions a lot of anxiety and she educated me and helped me feel more in control and at ease .  Having her in the room with me while I was in labor helped me soo much to keep my mind at ease and not be full of anxiety. Even just chatting or laughing she brought in essential oil diffuser some low lights it just made the room a less scary environment and more peaceful. She was by my side through the hard parts. She was there for me. I truly appreciate having Priya as my doula.

Priya was the best doula ever.She is the sweetest human being ever,she made sure I always felt heard and seen.She educated me on things I didn't know and guided me and my partner to both learn how to swaddle a baby,feed a baby and etc for our first time.And this was my 1st ever pregnancy I was scared but when I gave birth Priya just made it easier to relax (: she made me feel like I was at home,she hung beautiful lights up in my room where i delivered and brought me essentials oils to relax and she talked me thru the pushing process I felt safe.I will never forget Priya because she was an angel to me

Priya was a blessing to have throughout my pregnancy and second c-section. She answered and questions and took care of any concerns my husband or I had. Having her by my side in the delivery room made such a difference and every thing she said made an unconfortable situation as comforting as it could be. Priya is absolutely the best! I am beyond thankful that she was present on the day my son was born. From the moment I messaged her and told her that baby was on the way, she guided me. She helped me understand soooo much of the doctor lingo, she helped advocate for me and my wishes for my birth. When things didn’t go as planned, she helped me relax and stay grounded. My sisters and boyfriend were present as well and even they are grateful that Priya was there to help.
If you are on the fence about having a doula present, don’t be! Priya is wonderful and feels like family!

Priya is an amazing doula! She is very communicative and passionate about her work. I had issues with my insurance and doctors seeing me because I wanted a vbac. Got shut down a lot since vbac wasn't allowed where I lived. But no matter what Priya was supportive and patient. Always on board with whichever plan I wanted to go with. We had many meet ups and helped me so much. I didn't get what I wanted but that day she gave me encouragement and even checked in with my spouse! I'm so happy I got to experience my birth with her.

I had such a positive and great experience with dr prya as my doula. I felt so supported and it was great to have someone by my side through my pregnancy with gestational diabetes. Initially once I was diagnosed it took a toll on my mental health and looking back now I couldn’t have done it without her guidance and support. When it came time to deliver my baby she was there as soon as I was admitted to the hospital. My birthing experience was amazing and relaxing. Dr prya has such a big heart I’m forever grateful and glad I decided to choose to have her as a doula in my last pregnancy. I highly recommend it! ??

My journey with Priya began in February of 2023. I'm new to the high desert and I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I didn't have an obgyn but thank God I found Dr. Moore and Priya. I knew I wanted a doula but wasn't sure where to begin searching. My first appointment at the doctors office I met with Priya and I enjoyed her insight and knowledge. She was very friendly and kind to me. Always has a smile on her face, very attentive to what I was feeling at the moment. I had to convince my husband to get a doula because I wanted to have a good labor and delivery experience, especially since it's my first pregnancy. We finally booked Priya as our doula and we don't regret it one bit.

But I heard someone mention that if you get an epidural you don't need a doula, but that wasn't my experience. While Priya was there during my whole pregnancy and delivery, she answered ALL our questions, helped us prepare for delivery and showed us different techniques to labor in. She made sure we knew what was happening in the delivery room with the nurses. She was there for us and I felt safe with her advocating for me. I highly recommend her whether you have an epidural or not. Having someone, that’s knowledgeable about medical terms, by your side is worth the investment.

I asked to meet the doula on site when I was 36 weeks and 6 days as I had a feeling that my baby boy was coming soon and that was the best decision I made. Priya gave me a crash course in labor as I asked her to join my team pretty late in my pregnancy to educate not only me but my partner as well and answered all of our questions and came up with a birth plan for us. At 37 weeks and 3 days I had high blood pressure and was told the baby was coming late night and we contacted Priya and she came in first thing the morning after (I was still in labor!) and checked in on me, decorated my room (which was the sweetest thing ever) and has been our biggest supporter since she joined our team from pregnancy to postpartum. We couldn’t have done it without her. To anyone currently pregnant and needing guidance or a supportive person I would recommend Priya. Thank you for being there for us and helping my birth experience become a great one.

Priya is an amazing doula! She is so kind, caring and up-lifting. There were many times I changed my mind or was indecisive about my birth plan and she always gave me the best advice to support me with my final decision. Anything I needed she was there to help or find me resources for a solution to my problem. My first few weeks of postpartum were rough and thankfully with her reassurance/motivation I made it out of that dark space. Doula Priya was THE BEST Doula I could have ever asked for. Every meeting prior to labor, she took the time to really check in with me and listen to my wants and preferences for laboring. She provided resources to me for my concerns and even anticipated my concerns. During the labor process, she provided a wonderful, peaceful ambiance for meand my support people, she helped me through my decision making and was great advocate for me. Even post Parfums, she still makes herself available to check in on me and my mental health and continues to provide encouragement and resources. Throughout the whole process, it was evident that Doula Priya was called to be a doula and that she has genuine concern and care for her clients and their pregnancy and birth journey.

I really loved my experiencia with Priya! From the moment we met, I felt super comfortable with her. She truly made my birth experience a beautiful thing. She allowed me to change my mind multiple times about how I wanted my birth to be and she was super supportive every step of the way. She has an amazing attention to detail. My children’s father couldn’t be present at our daughters birth and I was so nervous because I felt like I was going to feel alone. Thanks to Priya she made me feel loved, encouraged and supported and also included him as much as possible. She answered all of my questions and concerns thoroughly and with empathy. She also has a very calm spirit and positive vibe. So blessed that she was my doula. If I get pregnant again in the future, I would definitely love to have her as my doula again!
