Having Ellie on our birth team was absolutely incredible, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. From the beginning, she proved to be very knowledgable while staying curious about our preferences and having a tremendously positive attitude. I have twins, so we knew we'd have to be flexible with our birth plan, and that proved to be more true than we could have imagined. Ellie was there every step of the way and helped us make informed decisions for an ultimately healthy and beautiful birth. I am positive that our time in the hospital would have looked VERY different, and not for the better, without her. She was so present, dedicated, and calming - exactly what we needed. I'd enthusiastically recommend her to anyone.

Ellie was our postpartum doula for over 10 weeks. Our son spent the first 2 weeks in the NICU, and Ellie was remarkably helpful in supporting us during an emotionally and mentally tolling time. When we were all able to return home, we felt incredibly grateful to have Ellie's help guiding us in her special, gentle way through the ins and outs of baby care. She always offered helpful, comprehensive, and data-backed information that felt non-judgmental to help us make big and small decisions. She spent time guiding me through breastfeeding and pumping; she seemed like a friend in her encouragement and kindness during the process. She was loving and amazing when taking care of our son so that my husband and I could get rest or a break! 

Overall, Ellie is an absolute gem and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for postpartum care. We cannot wait for her to become a midwife so that she can deliver our next child!

Ellie was absolutely amazing during our entire pregnancy. During our planning meeting we could tell immediately that she was truly listening to our concerns and how we wanted our birth to go. She was concious of our medical needs and what impact they could have on the birth. We could not have imagined going through our birth without Ellie. She was so supportive and helped us to process what the doctors were saying and would advocate for us when needed. She was extremely knowledgeable and really put her and soul into providing the best possible care she could. After going through our birth experience with Ellie we feel we formed a special bond with her and consider a friend, someone who helped make our dreams of haivng a family come true. We would highly recommend Ellie to anyone looking for a doula.

There are not enough words to express our gratitude for Ellie during our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. As a first time mom, there was so much information out there for us to work through and rather than being overwhelmed, Ellie walked us through all of it and gave us our options. It made me feel really prepared for birth, rather than scared. If I could give one piece of advice to an expectant mom, it would be to hire a could. If I could give one piece of advice to an expectant mom in Massachusetts, it would be to hire Ellie. Hands down the best choice we made in pregnancy and birth. We are so glad she is a part of our sons birth story.

Ellie was a phenomenal doula. Book her now! Before we found her, I confess I thought doulas were only for wealthy people, plus I was already 7-8 months pregnant so I wondered if it would be a sensible investment. But Ellie's packages were so reasonable we purchased one immediately! I tend to be a modest person so I was worried it would be hard to open up to her, but Ellie's kindness and quiet confidence put me at ease immediately during our initial intake. When my contractions started, I was terrified. And then as they picked up speed, I didn't think we could leave the house. But my partner called Ellie and she knew exactly what to do. She talked us through next steps over the phone and then met us at the hospital where she held me while I had a contraction outside the front door and again in the lobby. I have a food allergy so when I needed energy during labor, she found food I could eat. She was my fearless advocate as well as a competent translator for everything the medical staff said. If we're blessed to have another baby, we will absolutely hire Ellie again! I can't imagine going through that experience without her.

We are so lucky that we were matched with Ellie for postpartum doula support. She was caring, proactive, patient, & open minded with us as first time parents and during a challenging birth recovery physically and mentally. She didn't need me to tell her explicitly how to help, she just used her instincts. If I use a birth doula the second time around (didn't with the first), I hope Ellie is available!

Ellie was knowledgeable, communicative, and informative before, during, and after the birth of our first child. She made herself available for questions over text and was prompt with responses, empathy, and information. She brought a warm, calm, and positive demeanor to our experience. As my pregnancy progressed, our plans had to change many times. She was proactive in ensuring we were thinking ahead and knew what to expect and what decisions we would need to make. My labor experience had an unexpected twist and Ellie was able to help my partner and I navigate it calmly in the moment. After our daughter was born, Ellie came to us to check in and provide additional support. Lastly, Ellie is well connected and was always able to point us toward additional resources in addition to her extensive knowledge. She was fantastic as providing information without judgement or bias, and we felt we could navigate our birth choices and call them our own. We can't recommend her enough!

I am so grateful to have had Ellie as a part of my birthing team! She was incredibly helpful in the weeks leading up to my delivery, always available to answer questions and provide reassurance. And she was a game changer on the day of my delivery. Her presence made me calmer and more confident in the decisions I made, and she advocated for me to have the birth experience I wanted. Thanks in large part to Ellie, I can truly say I had a positive and beautiful birthing experience including trauma-informed care, full information and automony, and a peaceful environment for my baby to enter the world into. I couldn't recommend her more!

Working with Ellie was wonderful! She's kind, informative, and extremely caring. We had great conversations around labor and anxiety and preparations, it made me feel confident about my birth! Then when I learned my baby was breech and we would have to schedule a c-section, she was extremely supportive and stayed right by my side the whole time (literally)! Her presence was invaluable both to me and my husband, and she helped what I worried would be the worst experience of my life turn into a really lovely birth! I could not say enough about how much I loved working with her!

We had an excellent experience with Ellie for our first birth. We had originally hired another doula, who had a last minute emergency and was unable to join us for the delivery. The original Doula works with Ellie to back each other up, so Ellie was able to step in seamlessly and was already familiar with our needs and preferences. We were in the hospital for over 30 hours before delivery, and Ellie was very responsive throughout the process, coordinating with us at all hours about when to come in and what we might need. My wife experienced medical complications during the birth, and Ellie was instrumental in helping us navigate that, from stepping in wherever needed in the delivery room to providing comfort and emotional support to both of us during and after the complications. After the delivery, Ellie provided a number of resources tailored to our particular needs, and checked in regularly to make sure we had the support we needed to succeed. 

We strongly endorse Ellie's doula services and would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Working with Ellie was great! She is very knowledgeable, has a lot of experience, is passionate about her work as a doula, and is also very flexible and able to adapt to the particular needs of a family and a new mom. Counting with her in our birth experience was a blessing. She did a great team with the nurses at the hospital, she explained everything to me and helped me make informed decisions before, during, and after the birth of my son. Ellie was amazing! She took over our other doula, who had an unexpected circumstance come up, shortly before our due date. Prior to going into labor, Ellie was checking in with me regularly and providing tips on how to help jumpstart labor after I went past my due date. In the hospital, Ellie helped me make decisions regarding pain management and was very supportive. She helped me advocate for myself when I wanted to try different positions with an epidural despite hesitation from hospital staff as well as when I was trying to avoid medical procedures and have labor progress naturally, which it did. She checked in with me regularly after birth and provided support when I was having trouble breastfeeding. Although I am a medical professional and have delivered babies myself, I really appreciated having Ellie's expertise and calming presence when it was time to deliver my own child.

Ellie was such a wonderful doula and we could not have asked for a better match. She was attentive to our situation and asked relevant questions as well as provided resources that helped us feel much more prepared for the transition to parenthood and our childbirth. She has a calm and friendly demeanor that greatly helped while in the woes of labor pain and her encouragement and ideas of positions for pushing was the reason I was able to have a relatively quick labor time in terms of pushing. I loved my experience with Ellie. Having her accompany me on my pregnancy journey was a delight! Ellie was available for my many questions, concerns, and worries. She was able to be at my birth and was a big help in coordinating my birth team and making sure everyone had the resources and information they needed.
