As a fisrt timer whose child came a bit late (according to some wierd standards in my opinion), I was certainly already prepared to fail as a mom. My self doubt hit level 100, I think I was about to have a meltdown. However, I will not lie if I say that Emily "saved" my sanity. Her empathy and a very delicate approach that's exactly what I needed. She listed to me and I felt like I am being listed, which does not happen that often with certain services.. also, we so much appreciated her proactive attitude and an idea for me and my husband to have some coffee date while she was taking care of our little bundle of joy it was priceless, even though we were just across the street for 30 min, to leave your newborn for a first time like that is not easy, but with Emily it was like it's someone whome you can trust your the most precious thing, your baby. We can not thank you enough for choosing us so you can take care of us!

Emily was the blessing our family didn't know we needed during the postpartum period. As a first time mom with a traumatic birth experience, I needed a lot of extra support in figuring out motherhood. In addition to helping with the seemingly endless workload of baby laundry, pump parts, bottles and dishes, Emily lent a non-judgmental ear to all of my challenges and helped me advocate for myself. It was so nice to have her in my corner as we made decisions about parenting and caring for our little one. Before I gave birth I wasn't sure we'd need a postpartum doula but since working with Emily I recommend a postpartum doula (and Emily for those who are local) to all of my pregnant friends.

Emily was such a wonderful resource  to me! She is resourceful, creative and solution oriented. She is warm and easy to talk to. She had great suggestions and always followed up on anything she said she was going to. She helped me with keeping my fridge stocked, snacks made for my toddler, fed our newborn when I felt I needed to do other things. Highly recommend - she was my first PP doula experience and would definitely hire her again!

Emily provides a wonderful service - she is flexible, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and supportive. She made the postpartum transition much more manageable and less stressful for our family!

I appreciate everything Emily has done for me and my baby she's a wonderful person. I was able to get rest when I need it she even help me with laundry and took care of my son. She made sure my mental was OK even on her off days.

if I was to ever have another baby, Emily would be the first person. I will call to tell the news. We love Emily.
