Camila helped take care of my daughter for more than 3 months from the time she was 1 month old to 4 months. She did overnights as well as daytime care. It was a true pleasure to have her in our home & taking care of our baby. Camila was very gentle, loving & calm. She truly cared about my daughter & this made me feel very safe leaving them together. My daughter really looked forward to seeing her because they genuinely had a good time & Camila is so sweet. Camila made my life easier by helping with additional things like: labeling & storing milk, washing pump & bottle parts, washing & folding laundry, and cleaning up Evie’s room. She’s is also very observant & noticed when my baby had a rash behind her ears so we were able to get it treated right away. Whoever works with Camila next is very lucky!

My husband and I are first time parents and when our baby boy arrived, we had no clue what we were doing. Luckily, we had the great sense to hire Camila to help us overnight for the first couple months of his life.  Over that period of time, not only was Camila invaluable to helping us figure out how to raise our baby boy but she also became our friend.  Camila is super knowledgeable about babies.  When we got home from the hospital, Camila noticed that our baby boy was an abnormal shade of yellow.  I was so sleep deprived and so stressed about breastfeeding that I didn't even notice.  We took him to the pediatrician immediately and his bilirubin levels were so elevated that he had to stay in the NICU for a few days.  Thank goodness she noticed! She showed us so many things - how to bathe him, what to bathe him in, how to cut his nails, how to clean his ears, how to ease baby gas, how to baby wear (among many other things). She even helped us organize his clothes. On really rough nights (like after his first vaccinations), she would literally hold him to help him sleep. We could not have gotten through the newborn days without her and I've been recommending her to every friend I know that wants to hire a night doula.  I can't recommend her enough!

My husband and I originally weren't going to hire any postpartum help, but we were convinced after talking to many of our friends. We only had a month to find a postpartum doula and even though Camila had a client already, we were so fortunate she agreed to incorporate us into her  schedule for the first three weeks of our little one's lives. 

As first time parents, having Camila's support was priceless. She answered all our questions, showed us her tips and tricks with a newborn, and handled all the care of our little one at night. Having Camila overnight was the most valuable part of everything as it allowed me to get some extra time to rest. Since I was still trying to increase my milk supply, it was nice to not have to worry about cleaning pump parts after a middle of the night feed and pump session. It also allowed my husband to get a full nights rest so he could help the next day which allowed an extra nap session for me. 

I can't believe we almost decided not to have a postpartum night doula because Camila was so invaluable in the beginning of our parenthood journey.

After many evenings researching, and having met with several excellent candidates, we decided to go with Camila as a newborn care specialist for our first child. Neither my wife nor I have close family living nearby, so we thought we might need some support in the first few months. As things turned out, our baby was born 5 weeks premature, and — even though our contract wasn’t meant to start for a while yet — Camila made sure to be available for our first night home when we sorely needed a friendly and reassuring face (and helping pair of hands). Over the next 12 weeks, Camila continued to be a lifesaver. She has a wealth of knowledge and is generous in sharing it (always while being careful to respect boundaries and never, ever, feeling pushy or judgmental).

Camila truly cares for the children she looks after. Even during her off-days she would text us to find out how pediatrician visits went, or to send links that might be relevant to something she noticed the night before. She also has a great support network, which meant that one night when my wife and I unexpectedly needed some extra support, Camila was able to hook us up with someone within half an hour, taking time out from her family vacation to help us. (The person she introduced us to was also great.)

We have no hesitation in recommending Camila as an experienced, loving, and easy-to-work with specialist.

I recently hired Camila as a newborn care specialist to help with the care of my newborn and I am so grateful for the support she provided. From the moment she arrived, she was professional and compassionate, and she quickly became an invaluable member of our family.

Camila was able to take over the majority of the overnight feeding and diaper changes, allowing my partner and me to get some much-needed rest. This made a huge difference in our ability to function during the day and helped us to better care for our baby.

In addition to providing practical support, Camila was also a wealth of knowledge when it came to newborn care. She answered all of our questions and gave us valuable advice on everything from feeding and sleeping to development and milestones.

Overall, I highly recommend hiring Camila to any new parents. The support and expertise she provides can be a lifesaver during those early, overwhelming weeks. Camila was a true blessing and we are grateful to have had her by our side.

We hired Camila to help us care for our newborn when she was 3 weeks old. Having Camila around lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. Becoming a parent is so challenging and we were underprepared for many aspects (e.g., weight gain issues, exclusively pumping). It was a big turning point when she started working with us, and we finally felt like things were getting better and more sustainable.

She worked with us for a total of 4 months, providing both night time support and expert guidance for ensuring my daughter was hitting her milestones and creating good eating/sleeping habits. It was clear from day 1 that she had a lot of experience with babies and was very comfortable taking care of them (both at night and in the day). We felt very comfortable leaving our daughter in her care which made it easier for us to focus on recovering and our own health.

Camila is extremely professional, kind, empathetic, and trustworthy. She also has a big network and helped us to find daytime nanny care which we were striking out on. She really puts the needs of the child first and I would highly recommend anyone considering getting a NCS to work with her.

Camila provided night support to me and my newborn baby from day (night) one. She is so warm and loving with babies; my daughter was completely comfortable and would pass out in her arms after screaming at me all day. Having Camila’s help was indispensable to me in those exhausting first weeks. I looked forward to her arrival each time, and though I was exhausted I’d stay up to chat with her.
