We felt so lucky to have found Kim. She was referred by a parents group and a few other parents in our town had used her and raved about her. As someone in the healthcare field, I was so relieved to have found a doula who was a RN and had tons of experience caring for infants. Our initial meeting with her pre-baby put us at ease - she already had lots of great suggestions to my many questions. It was wonderful to be able to text Kim as questions came up post-partum and to have her support at night. She really is a baby whisperer and our little girl loved her! She taught us great tips for the bedtime routine including safe bathtime and baby massage and our little girl was sleeping like a champ very early on. I never felt silly asking her questions and she always helped put my anxious mind to rest with her sound, calm, caring, and supportive answers. I wasn't sure how I would feel about having another person in the home but she was so easy to be around and I looked forward to our chats. She also handled our dog (who became very protective of us after the baby was born) with ease and he soon grew to love her as well. That postpartum time was very overwhelming and she was so great about taking over household tasks that I needed help with from helping set up my pump the first time and showing me how it worked, showing us how to pace feed with bottles, washing many pump parts, baby laundry, and organizing baby's drawers and closet. She seemed to intuitively just know how to help with these sorts of things without me even asking. Thank you, Kim, for everything! Our whole family is so appreciative of all your care and help!

My husband and I hired Kim prior to our first daughter being born.  It was such a relief coming home from the hosptial knowing that Kim would be there the next day to guide us through the first few days of newborn life as well as help keep our house in order.  Kim jumped right in on her first day with us - she took initiative and suggested tasks that she could help with all while coaching us on how to care for our new babe! I will forever be grateful for those first few days where I could sneak in naps while Kim kept a watchful and loving eye on our daughter.

As the weeks went on, Kim was a huge support for us. As a new mom, she gave me the confidence and reassured me everything my daughter and I were experiencing was normal.  She always offered solutions and ideas for the challenges that come with the newborn phase and was never pushy - everything was my choice and only if I was comfortable would we try things!

In addition to daytime hours in the first couple of weeks, Kim transitioned to overnights with us - we looked forward to her arriving every night.  She was extremely loving, gentle and even keeled with our daughter.  She had a gentle approach to overnights/sleep training.  Gently guiding and teaching our daughter to soothe herself and ultimately, sleep through the night! I had the utmost confidence in Kim when she spent overnights with our daughter. I knew everyone would wake up happy (including my husband and I after enjoying some decent sleep).

Kim is very knowledgeable in newborn care (first time mom here with SO many questions!), flexible, happy, has great communication and most importantly loved our baby.  The idea of having someone in our house during a huge time of change seemed a bit overwhelming, but she blended in with our family perfectly. I would highly recommend Kim if you are looking for additional support for you and your family postpartum.

Kim was our postpartum doula for our first child and I can't even begin to express how helpful and wonderful it was to have her care for our son and me. She was so kind, comforting and helpful with our son and she just had a such a warm and kind demeanor. Our son absolutely adored her and would instantly be at ease when she took care of him! We fully trusted her with the care of our child, and having her there for those tough nights as I was recovering from my c-section and dealing with a newborn was so necessary. As a NICU nurse, she just seemed very informed and qualified to answer/address any infant concerns or questions. She's incredibly knowledgeable about infant care and would proactively provide tips and help. I probably asked her a million questions during her time with us and she always eagerly answered all of them. I also had a lot of breastfeeding difficulties that made my post-partum recovery a bit difficult. Kim was there supporting and helping me as I tried to regulate my supply. We so enjoyed having Kim as a postpartum doula and I would highly recommend her to any family!

Kim was a huge support in our first couple months with our second baby. It was one of the best decisions we made! Even though we were experienced parents, it made such a difference to get a good nights rest when she was there. Having that uninterrupted sleep helped us both for the next day but also just for the recovery process after my own C-section. She was great for both physical and mental health. There’s nothing like handing off your baby to someone you wholeheartedly trust and then you can soundly sleep. Kim is extremely qualified with her NICU experience and her gentle and calming nature helped ease our anxieties. We felt extremely comfortable leaving our daughter in her care. She also helped greatly with tips on how to breastfeed more effectively and was very knowledgeable about different tips/ tricks to help soothe our daughter. And last but not least, Kim is just a very kind person and we loved having her around the house. We joke that we are keeping her until kindergarten starts!
