Doula Training

• DONA International-Approved Workshop, November 2022

- AHS Food Safety Course completed Dec 2022 (expires Dec 2025). - Standard First Aid and CPR level C completed September 2023 (expires September 2026). - AHS Trauma Informed Care training completed May 2019. - Vecova Medication Administration certification completed Sept 2023 (expires Sept 2025). - BEE (Breastfeeding Education and Equity) mentor through NorthernStar Milk Bank. - Volunteer grief support person with Alberta Hospice and Palliative Care Association for over 2 years. - Over 10 years supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses. - Some American Sign Language and Spanish known (not fluent). - Completed the Circle of Security workshop through Families Matter from September to November 2022. - currently working toward postpartum doula certification with DONA. - currently training to be a birth and bereavement doula through StillBirthday.

Fee Details

I offer virtual and in-person support. Virtual support is set at $20/hour and in-person day support is set at $30/hour. Other options for families: childcare, breastfeeding support, prenatal preparations (cleaning, nesting, food prep, etc), help connecting with resources, lending library, and more.
