My experience with Ashton Johnson as my doula was nothing short of incredible. From the very beginning, Ashton brought such a calming presence into the room. Her soft, gentle tone made me feel instantly reassured and cared for, which was exactly what I needed during such an intense and vulnerable time.

What stood out to me most was how well-prepared she came. She didn’t just bring one or two ideas—she had multiple techniques, options, and approaches ready to help me manage pain and find comfort as my labor progressed. She truly met me where I was in each moment and adjusted her support based on what I needed physically and emotionally.

One of the most powerful parts of my experience was Ashton’s use of pressure points. With her guidance, I was able to work through my dilation without relying on pain medication—something I never thought would be possible. Her steady touch, her reminders to breathe, and her knowledge of how the body responds to different pressure points made all the difference.

Beyond the physical support, Ashton’s presence gave me the confidence to trust my body and my instincts. She offered comfort, encouragement, and empowerment in ways that felt so natural yet so intentional. Because of her, my birthing experience felt not only manageable but deeply positive and even empowering.

I am endlessly grateful for Ashton’s care, expertise, and unwavering support. I can confidently say that my birth experience was as smooth and meaningful as it was because of her.
