Mikey was nothing short of amazing! I honestly could not have gotten through my birth without her. I had a very difficult pregnancy and birth, but Mikey was there every step of the way. She helped me feel empowered during difficult decisions  and really made sure I felt comfortable with using my voice. I ended up having an emergency c-section because of issues with my blood pressure, but she still made sure to check in with me and make sure that I was ok and taken care of. My entire pregnancy she was responsive and knowledgeable, and she really made me feel like she was more than just hired help. I genuinely felt like she cared about me and my birth outcome. I cannot recommend her enough!!!

We had a very positive experience with Mikey both before and during birth. She helped us better understand the labor and birth process, and decisions we would be making along the way, as well as what options were available during labor and delivery. She was a calming and supportive presence to both me and my partner, assisted with comfort measures, and advocating for our choices. We're so happy Mikey was there for the birth and would reccomend her to other expecting parents!

Mikey is a wonderfully caring and supportive doula. She was the back-up to our original doula, and when we ended up in a "baby race" with another client, Mikey stepped in. She arrived at the worst possible moment; we had just transferred from labor and delivery triage to the delivery room -- who did not have a nurse ready to receive us due to a miscommunication -- and I was nauseous. When Mikey arrived, she had an IMMEDIATE calming effect, which left us feeling so cared for and supported; it was a complete turnaround in our labor process, and Mikey was exactly what we needed in that moment. Throughout the rest of labor, she continued to be supportive, answering our questions when the nurse was out of the room, helping to keep me comfortable, and letting my husband step out of the room to get a meal without feeling like he abandoned me. She was exactly what we needed, and we whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.
