It was an absolute pleasure to work alongside with Leah! First time mom, didn't know what to expect in this whole experience - Leah was able to be so generous with her time and allowing us to learn with her. All of our questions were always answered and she exceeded our expectations when it came to helping us prepare for our sons birth. The day is my sons birth she accomdated and didn't just provide me with the unconditional support and allowing my birth wishes to be met, but also supported my partner and family that was present at the hospital. Overall, I have no regrets in selecting Leah as our doula! Anyone that partners with her will be the luckiest!

When the doula we had lined up to attend my birth ended up being unable to come at the last minute, Leah stepped in without missing a beat. It was my first birth, and I was terrified, insecure, and really struggling to manage my pain using all of the techniques I had read about. Leah showed up, as a member of the Chicago Volunteer Doulas, and was able to help me by practicing breathing exercises with me, showing me different positions, and gently but assertively instilling quiet and complete confidence in my ability to birth my baby. Leah has a unique propensity to stay calm under pressure, and reacted intuitively to my needs and advocated for me with the medical team. I cannot recommend Leah's services enough, especially if an unmedicated birth is a goal or if this is your first baby.
