There are not enough words to describe how great of a doula and lactation counselor Kristi is. She prepared my husband and I so well for the birth of our beautiful baby girl. I reached out to Kristi in the very early stages of my pregnancy and she broke down how she teaches her classes. Each class was more interesting than the previous one. (It also helps when your partner is super involved- it makes it more exciting!) During the birthing process, Kristi prepared us so well for my 19 hour labor and 10 minutes (yes 10 minutes!) of pushing- for a first time mom.

The way she advocated for myself and my husband in the hospital made us feel very grateful to have her there with us. She made me feel like anything was possible. I feel that everyone should have a doula- there were things I “thought” I knew but Kristi informed us of so much more- how to rest in between contractions and breathe through them. I am honored to have had Kristi there as our doula. We had a very special birthing team and we owe our healthy and safe delivery of our baby girl to her!

Kristi was amazing from the moment we started working together during pregnancy. She provided me a ton of info to prepare me for birth. Shortly after birth, I needed more help from Kristi because I was really struggling with breastfeeding which was causing me a lot of stress. She came to my house as soon as she could - I believe it was the same day which really showed me how much she cared about helping me. She really helped me figure out everything I needed to know in regards to breastfeeding and so many other things like sleeping challenges, skin issues and much more. She honestly has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I definitely plan to user her again for the next pregnancy and birth!

Kristi was our doula for the birth of our daughter. We originally had a vision for the birth we wanted, but our girl was breech and pretty stubborn about moving, so we ended up with a scheduled C-section. all through the process, Kristi was supportive in offering guidance on how to address the breech position, as well as support for what a positive C-section experience could look like when it became clear that was our likely option. Having her there even for a surgical birth was so helpful in keeping myself and my husband calm and grounded. After birth, Kristi also supported us with the transition to latching our babe right from the recovery room, and offered additional lactation support in the days after our birth and return from the hospital. All in all, we could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Kristi to any future parents!

We worked with Kristi as a postpartum doula. I had a newborn and a toddler so I knew I needed some help this time around. Kristi was incredible from the very first day. She has a gentle, kind and bubbly personality which was so nice to have around. She very quickly picked up on what our family needed on any given day whether it was playing with my toddler, tidying up our living spaces, prepping food so that I could stay nourished or holding our baby so that I could rest, shower or spend time with my toddler. She is extremely knowlegable in all things lactation and postpartum/infant care. It was such a gift to have the presence of such a kind and happy expert during a time when our family really needed the extra support. Can't recommend her enough!

The Best Experience Ever!

I had to drop a quick note about how amazing my experience with Kristi and she was during my pregnancy and birth. It was seriously the best!

Kristi is an absolute superstar! She's like that positive, motivating friend you wish you had. We clicked right away, and I couldn't have asked for a better partner. Kristi had my back the whole way through. She answered all my questions and kept me calm. Her support was priceless.

Kristi helped me get ready physically and mentally. It felt like having a personal coach. When the big day came, Kristi was there, guiding me through it all. She made labor feel empowering, not scary.

Kristi is more than a doula; she's like family. She genuinely cares about you and your experience.

In short, if you want a doula service that feels like having a supportive friend and family member, Kristi is the way to go. My journey was incredible because of her.

Kristi was such a blessing helping me navigate being a first time mom in those early few weeks home with our baby. She was such a calm and reassuring presence, was willing to do whatever I needed to help make me feel comfortable and supported, and was so sweet to our baby. It was amazing having her as a second set of arms to help watch her so I could take a quick nap, shower, even just to eat! She also was so helpful in my breast feeding journey. I couldn't have done it without her - will always be thankful for the hours we spent together!!

Kristi has been nothing but wonderful in helping me in my breastfeeding journey. As a first time mom, it is very overwhelming with the amount of information online (what to do, what not to do etc.). Kristi has been kind and compassionate and brings a sense of calmness when I have self doubt. She is very professional, knowledgeable and caters to you and your baby's needs. She is also very responsive - just a text or phone call away. Whether it be for breastfeeding counseling or her Doula services, Kristi provides you with an incredible support system and will leave you feeling confident and empowered! I can't recommend her enough!!

Kristi is a lifesaver! When my daughter was born I was having latch issues and struggling with painful nursing sessions. After speaking to her about it she drove almost an hour to my house the very next day. She truly cares for people and loves what she does. She made me feel extremely comfortable the whole time and gave me a lot of helpful tips to make breastfeeding pain free. I highly recommend hiring Kristi for all of your labor and postpartum needs!
