I am so glad to have found Rachel as my doula during my pregnancy! It was my first pregnancy and I was suffering from perinatal anxiety and depression. I was in therapy during my first trimester and contemplated on hiring a doula. I am so happy I decided to do so because it made my birth experience a positive one, something you rarely ever hear these days! Birth is unpredictable and I was planning to have a vaginal delivery like almost every first time Mom, but my baby boy was breech since 22 weeks pregnant! I had to have a c section and it was an awesome experience! Rachel sat with my husband and I all day long in a tiny labor room. My surgery kept getting pushed back because my OB was running behind. We were there at 7 am and my surgery was at 8 pm! She was like talking to a friend I knew for years and years. We watched one of my favorite shows , 90 day Fiance, a memory I'll  have forever. Having her there before the biggest surgery of my life took all of my anxiety away. It made me have an amazing postpartum experience !  Im so thankful to have met Rachel, I gained a friend for life and grateful  she had shared one of the most vulnerable days of my life with me!

My experience with Rachel was more helpful and comforting to me than I could have imagined. Rachel is so knowledgeable and from our very first conversation she made me feel completely comfortable.  I had somewhat of a difficult pregnancy which left both my husband and I always feeling anxious and coming up with new concerns to dwell about.  Rachel was amazing at putting our minds at ease and being very quick to respond to all of our many questions. The classes and home visits she gave us in addition to all the reading materials and references she provided helped us feel so much more prepared than we would have been on our own.  I have nothing but good things to say about her services and I would recommend Rachel to any expecting parents. She has a true passion for what she does and it shows.

Where to even begin? Rachel attended both of our births; we have a son who is almost three and a daughter who is about 6 months. My first birth was long and hard and nothing like I'd pictured for myself. My husband was an incredible support but it's Rachel who I remember so much in the difficult moments. She is so incredibly calming and warm, full of love. She made sure I was able to make informed decisions and she helped me keep focus when I was exhausted. My second birth was so very different and, still, my memories of the moments when I needed Rachel are clear. She has a gift that she is sharing with us. We were lucky enough to experience that gift twice and we honestly couldn't recommend her more.
