Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
Serving the couple, it is our role to blend into the network of support for the growing family. Hospital births present genuine opportunities to become part of a team of support for growing families who are under physician directed care. We serve the non-medical, emotional and supportive components of hospital birth in complete co-operation with medical and nursing staff. It is a privilege to be able to bring this additional layer of support to families who choose to birth in hospitals, and a great opportunity for our care to accent quality medical protocol.

Incredible! Honored and reinforced my decisions before, during, and after birth. Highly qualified. My birthing experience was traumatic but I'm certain it would have been far worse without their support. Carla is like a yogi/cheerleader/psychologist all wrapped in one, and Emily is an endless font of knowledge as well as being the best personal bodyguard since Kevin Costner, and you benefit from the fact that they work as a team so you get the best of all worlds. Whether you are a crunchy granola kind of woman or a "just the facts" individual (I'm a bit of both) they're ready for you. They are professional, yet put everyone around them at ease with their abundance of warmth and charm. They care, they genuinely care. Worried about helping your other children cope and understand what's happening? These experienced mamas are so talented with kids, reassuring yet never talking down to them. They also make their guidance available for your partner, as well as any other loved ones present. Have a particular relative that you just know is going to make everything even more stressful? They can help mitigate tha -- thank god! Feeling lonesome -- you're new in town or don't know any moms? They introduced me to web communities and even put me in touch with a couple other clients of theirs who live nearby who were in the same boat, and those flowered into friendships/support networks! You can call or text them with all your weird pregnancy questions or "is this really labor?" hysterics any time and they never make you feel unwelcome. Also they're very LGBTQ friendly! Still trying to persuade your boyfriend or husband that it's worth the price tag? Wait until your first (free) interview when he sees what a benefit they will be to both you AND him (or watch him really light up when he realizes Carla can talk sports with the best of them.) I hired them as doulas, but I kept them as friends and mentors.
