Danelle was with our family for the first 6 months when our baby was born. She started out doing night support and then transitioned to full-time day support. We can't imagine what that first 6 months would have been like without her! Danelle is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, responsible, reliable, warm, engaged and proactive. She was critical to helping us learn how to be parents. If she didn't know something (which was rare!) she would find out the answer and then guide us through it. She taught us everything we know and we are so grateful to her for being our partner and mentor through parenthood. Danelle is extremely proactive- she finds ways to be helpful- you never have to ask her to do anything, she just identifies something that needs to be done and takes it for action. Danelle is also proactive in planning for the next phase that baby will enter; she identifies what milestones are coming next and helps parents prepare and set baby up for success. She is incredibly warm, engaged and energetic- she always gives baby (and parents!) 100%. Danelle is extremely reliable- she is always early and stays until the job is done. She manages her (busy!) schedule well- she has many clients and is in high demand but she'll always work with you to ensure you have the coverage you need. She is extremely knowledgeable and is always eager to learn and educate herself more- not only is she experienced, but she's also certified in many areas as well. We trust Danelle wholeheartedly. Our baby is always so happy to see Danelle and absolutely loves spending time with her; we consider Danelle to be part of our family. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her as their Doula!

Danelle was an amazing caregiver for our daughter. We hired her as a night doula to support and she was incredible. She was on time, knowledgeable, and provided attentive care. What we enjoyed the most is that she followed our instructions and our care plan, while also providing suggestions to help us during the day. I would hire her again for our next child and highly recommend.

If you have a chance to hire Danelle as a post-partum doula, jump at the opportunity.  It is impossible to describe how wonderful a caregiver she is (especially for twins!) & how phenomenal she is at her profession. At the newborn stage, Danelle had every skill set on the post-partum doula wishlist that we could want while recovering from a difficult birth. Her warmth, gentleness, & ability to juggle the feeding/soothing of fussy newborns was unparalleled. With the twins born premature, she had an amazing knowledge base to reassure us of a 'normal' range of behaviors (yet also observe things we might want to check-in with our pediatrician about). She had non-obtrusive tips on "mom care" -- breastfeeding, post c-section care, pumping, etc. – as she was well-versed in the many aspects of the post-partum journey. Most importantly, she excelled at sweeping in & taking over so we could get much-needed rest. It is a rare to find someone who almost instinctively, from the moment they walk in, seems to know exactly what you need in childcare, who you trust to immediately scoop up the responsibilities & genuinely care for your children. Our twins also thrived developmentally with her - our physical therapist was so impressed with Danelle’s developmental observations/play strategies that they asked if she had any background in their profession. This is an example of why Danelle is so remarkable: she is already an undisputably first-rate childcare professional, but is still committed to improving her skills even more. She would often casually mention childcare articles/books she was reading that had strategies she thought might be helpful, as well as online coursework & classes she had taken or was planning to take. While the expense of a doula is often daunting, her help was priceless - we are only half-joking when we say she was like Mary Poppins - she swept in for a time like magic & gave us a marvelous start with our twins!

Danelle was an absolutely incredible partner postpartum. The day my babies arrive she met us at the hospital to stay with me overnight and was with us six nights a week for three wonderful months. Having twins was never something that I thought I would experience and even though those early days are a blur looking back, Danelle's steady hand, experience, warmth, and compassion remain constant in my memory. She knew when they needed to be fed before I did, she knew how to keep them from getting overly congested, she showed me how to prop them up in their twin pillow while they were being fed, strategized about how to sleep train when they were ready. She helped me feed them at late hours, she was compassionate and understanding when I needed to skip a breast-feed in order to get some more, and always had ideas about how to manage my supply. When we met in the morning after I slept, she always had complete details about how the night had gone. Danelle was always more than happy to perform tasks to take care of me, she'd make my favorite smoothie in the morning so that when I woke up so I didn't have to think about nourishment, brought me snacks during breast-feeding and kept my water bottle full. When I mentioned aches or pains, she was quick to offer thoughts about how I might engage with my care team to improve my condition without overstepping bounds of medical care. I don't ever intend to have another child, but if I did having to develop by my side would be one of the first thoughts to cross my mind. Thank you Danelle!

We’re so grateful to have had Danelle’s help overnight for the first few weeks with our newborn. She is a wonderful person and we felt totally comfortable having her in our home and looking after our baby. We learnt a ton of stuff about the baby from Danelle, and she was great at suggesting ways we could organise breastfeeding and pumping during the night to maximise sleep for mum. Danelle was very diligent about recording feeds/diapers/sleeps when we asked. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

It was great having Danelle as the doula. She was always on time and usually early. She was clean, experienced, calm, warm and patient. I was always comfortable leaving the baby with her and could trust her advice on my recovery. She was also great with our little dog. Overall, highly recommend and I will definitely have Danelle as my doula again if we were to have another child.

Danelle was an amazingly kind, caring, and knowledgeable doula. We were so grateful for her support during the first weeks of postpartum. She gave us peace of mind while we rested and recovered, as we knew our baby was in good hands. Any question we asked was met with kindness and no judgment. We highly recommend Danelle as your doula!

Danelle is an extraordinary caretaker. She began serving as my daughter's nanny and my postpartum doula soon after I gave birth, quickly becaming a reliable and nurturing resource for everything. Danelle was particularly gentle but instructive while I navigated breastfeeding and helped me and my daughter complete a nearly year-long solely breastfed journey. She also provided comfort while I managed postpartum depression and anxiety, supporting me and my husband by cooking meals, ensuring our basic needs were met and of course tending to our newborn. She is a creative and conscientious woman who will bring her best self to every new opportunity.
