Michelle was my back up doula and she was absolutely amazing. She was there within an hour at my side in my most vulnerable state after never having met. She jumped right into action working with me through the throes of labor and made me feel safe and supported. I would work with her again in an instant.

Michelle felt like a friend from the moment I met her. She radiates a calm, confident, and positive energy and warmth that put me at ease right away. Her nonjudgmental, encouraging attitude made me feel safe to open up to her during our appointments prior to the birth of my baby. During my labor, Michelle was an instrumental support for both me and my husband. She struck the right balance between suggesting comfort measures for my husband to use with me and offering them herself, so that we could both have private moments together during the birth and get the extra support of her helping hands. Throughout our time working together from pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, Michelle has gone out of her way to reach out to me frequently to check in on me, offer resources, and words of encouragement and reassurance. I cannot express how grateful my husband and I are to have had Michelle as a part of our birth team. She is a wonderful doula and person.

My husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about Michelle! Having a doula was something I knew I wanted, but something we also felt unsure about given that we are both private people and weren't sure how having someone else in the room during labor/delivery would change such a personal experience. Michelle was such a strong support leading up to the big day, which really eased my anxieties and helped me go into my labor/delivery feeling educated/informed. During labor Michelle was a comforting and calming presence, offering helpful hands and words of encourgement/gentle but appropriate coaching as needed. She was nothing but respectful and supportive, and understood how to read the room - knowing when to be hands-on or hands-off at any given moment. She makes herself readily available by phone/text/email, and was very accomodating to all of our needs! I will highly recommend her to anyone I know. Can't say enough good things!

I had a great experience with Michelle. I'm a very private person so was initially a little bit nervous about having someone there during my birth. But her warm personality and professionalism put me at ease immediately. I am very grateful to have been able to have her there at my daughter's birth to support me and my husband. She gave me good advice leading up to birth. And during the birth she put me and my husband at ease while giving suggestions on how he could help me through the contractions. She also asked permission to touch me and helped me with different pain points as well. It was a comfort to have her there.  She has been great not only prior to giving birth and through the birthing process but with follow-up afterwards as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering a doula.
