I would have been lost without Corby and I will never be able to fully express my gratitude for what she did during my birth. From the moment I reached out to her, everything was so easy (website, information, billing, communication were all seamless). We had a great planning meeting before the birth and she dug deep into my previous birth and what I needed most to make this one as great as possible. She was an amazing listener and just a ball of positivity and kindness! Over the final weeks of my pregnancy, she checked in and was a wonderful source of information and positivity. I felt really prepared for that 2nd birth and knew that Corby would be there to support me exactly in the way I needed. 

Well, we never could have anticipated what actually happened. I woke up at midnight with contractions and knew that labor was starting. My first birth was 36 hours, so I was pretty calm. But it was soon clear that this was different as the contractions BEGAN at 2 minutes apart soon there was barely any space between them. My husband called Corby and by some miracle she was at our home in just 15 minutes. Thank God for that because she arrived to me literally giving birth in our hallway! Corby ended up DELIVERING MY BABY by herself in an unplanned spontaneous home birth. And she was the calmest person I've ever seen while doing it. We were in a complete panic and there was Corby just cool as a cucumber, gently delivering my baby and reassuring me that everything is totally fine and somehow also rubbing my back and telling me that I'm a rockstar. Afterwards she worked with the paramedics when they arrived and followed us to the hospital and was availabile for whatever we might need afterwards. 

Today, she's literally listed on my daughter's birth certificate as the attending physician and I love that because it's a permanent memorial to this literal angel who arrived just in time to save us!  Hire her, you won't regret it. 

I have had two amazing birth experiences with Catherine! I absolutely recommend her. Her presence is warm, inviting, gentle, kind, and encouraging. From the first time I met her, she felt so relatable. Catherine gave me the confidence, encouragement, and support I needed to reach my goal of an unmedicated, hospital birth (TWICE!). Her presence was such a gift and comfort in the vulnerable experience of child birth. For me it was important to have a doula that I could relate to on my Christian faith values, and trusting in God throughout all the joys and challenges of pregnancy and birth. She was so open to talking about faith and relating to my values, which made my experience so positive! She sent me helpful articles, resources, and websites that answered my questions and provided different perspectives in discerning my options. I never felt pressured to make certain choices throughout my pregnancy and labor. She was super supportive of all the decisions my husband and I made. During labor, she provided helpful coping tips and counter pressure during the long hours of back labor. My husband was also so thankful to have Catherine as part of our team! It allowed him to take breaks during labor, focus on things only he could do (like packing the car), and he didn't have to remember all the things from the childbirth courses we took. In summary, she was a loving, maternal encourager, exactly what I needed in the seemingly daunting task of birthing a child.

I also recommend NOVA Birth Services. I particularly appreciated filling out the doula birth blueprint, which is very comprehensive in thinking through your labor and birth options. Thank you so much for all the support I was given! I definitely would go to them again.

Whitney is amazing. My husband ruptured his Achilles and was no longer able to help with his typivcal baby duties, so we asked Whitney to provide night nurse support a few nights a week so that Momma (me!) could get some uninterrupted sleep. We have a 9 month old, and while he's usually good at night, he does sometimes like to throw in a 2am wake up call!

My husband was initially nervous about having someone he didn't know in the house all night, and thought maybe our baby was too old for these services, but Whitney put us right at ease. In fact, after his first meeting with her, my husband said "I feel an immediate trust, and am so glad she's here to help you out when I can't." Our baby loves her too - she's a natural with children, and her support has help me be a better Mom during this crazy time.
