I could not imagine having the birth experience that I did without Cara by my side. In the midst of labor and needing to make tough decisions, Cara was there to guide me and offer advice that made the most sense for my birth plan. She was by my side when I needed her most and I am so, so thankful. I could not have done it without her. If you need a doula, you need Cara!!??

100% recommend Cara for any mothers looking for a doula. As a first time mom, I thought an epidural was my only option to get through birth and I was so fearful. Cara educated us on the various pain management options, different things to expect during birth and how to work through our fears. She also never judged us for any of the birth choices we wanted to make. I ended up having an unmedicated birth and felt empowered going into it. Cara also made sure that everyone on my support team felt like they had an important role during the birth and my husband is grateful for Cara's classes beforehand which helped him coach me during birth.

My husband and I highly recommend Cara as a doula! She helped so much during pregnancy and after. She gave us comfort before delivery on what to expect and provided support during the delivery and even after during recovery. We couldn't have done it without her by our side!

The experience I had working with Cara as my birth doula was invaluable. I could not have imagined my birth exerpeince without her being on my team. I went into my induction with lots of knowledge of what to expect, because Cara taught my husband and I during our birth classes. Throughout the labor and delivery, Cara's presence was a staple. She continued to help us make informed decisions, helped with easing contraction pains, and provided a warm and light hearted presence. Working with Cara was exactly what I wanted and needed out of my doula experience!

Cara was hands down the single most important and best investment I could have made for my birth.

Originally I was planning a homebirth but it turned into an induction at the hospital which was not at all what I wanted or hoped for.

However, despite my immense disappointment Cara was able to help me through an induction on pitocin while being completely unmedicated as a first time mom.

She helped me mentally accept that I was at the hospital and when shit got real and the pitocin contractions kicked in she helped me to manage the pain and push my baby out just 7 hours after we started the pitocin.

Cara did everything I needed her to and more. She knows exactly what to say and when to say it so that you can get through the mental marathon that giving birth is.

I wholeheartedly believe I could not have done that induction unmedicated without her and I would have never gotten through the mental block of being at the hospital without her either.

When I was originally searching for a doula I had no where near the money set aside to pay what she charges but looking back I would have paid more knowing what I know now about birth having experienced it.

Although I’ve only ever had one doula- I know in my heart she’s got to be one of the best!!!! This woman knows her stuff, loves what she does and does it without bias !!!

Cara was such an amazing addition to our pregnancy and birth experience. The classes she did at our home beforehand made us feel informed and prepared for whatever came our way during labor whether we had discussed it or not - just knowing we would have her expertise and support every step of the way was so calming and reassuring. Cara stayed up to date with how I was doing at OB appointments, helped me talk through things that my doctors brought up (such as baby’s size and potentially inducing) and helped me understand options and figure out my stance. She moved up our final home visit when we thought labor might happen before it was originally scheduled. And when I woke up in labor at 5:30 AM on a Sunday, talking to Cara all day helped me labor comfortably at home for about 14 hours before going to the hospital, and I believe this was the best outcome for a calm easy experience and avoiding unnecessary interventions. She joined us as thee hospital and brought essential oils, a sound machine, and twinkle lights to set the calm mood. She was an amazing support and cheerleader at the hospital and worked so well with the nurses to make sure I was happy and comfortable and progressing (flying cowgirl on the peanut ball - IYKYK). After we got home from the hospital, she checked in and offered encouragement, advice, and recommendations for lactation consultants. I am so glad we made the decision to work with Cara and will most definitely be calling on her for our next baby!

She truly empowered me to make the right decisions for me, and because of that, I was able to have an amazing birth. Her calming, nurturing energy was exactly what I needed during labor. Where to begin, Cara was the best decision I ever made while pregnant! It was my first pregnancy and baby and I wasn't sure a birth doula would be necessary but wow I am so grateful we had her through it all! She was emotionally supportive towards my anxieties and fears, she was so knowledgeable and educated us on all the things which helped ease my mind along the way and she shows up fully present, prepared and ready for anything! I had such a sense of calm in the hospital as soon as she was present. I felt safe. I miss her so much now that we have a happy thriving 3 month old and the thought has crossed my mind to get pregnant again to have Cara back hahaha in all seriousness I want to keep her forever. If you have any doubt or hesitation to hire Cara as your birth Doula just do it. She is a mother herself and her heart is fully committed to her role as a doula, you can clearly see it's her calling and she's a natural. My pregnancy and birth had so many challenges and hurdles and honestly without her as my rock, guidance and advocate or her belief in me and what I was capable of I believe I'd be struggling worse with PPD and PPA. Thank you so much Cara for treating us like family and for everything you did during such a beautiful and wild delivery.

l highly recommend Cara as a birth doula. She has helped deliver my two babies and I consider her an indispensable member of my birth team. Her knowledge, calm and caring helped me greatly leading up to and through my delivery. She is a great listener and advocate and will help you achieve the birth experience you want without judgement.

My birthing journey was one that was so emotional and unforgettable, each time my partner and I look back, we remember how Cara was such an integral part of it. She was an angel sent to us, and to me. Whenever I speak about my experience, Cara is always a part of that story and I always express my gratitude for having someone so incredible help me along the way. Cara embodies the best form of what it means to be a doula and her presence is beyond valuable. I was in labor for 36 hours and she didn't leave my side throughout it all, I'm not kidding. My intentions were to have a natural, unmedicated home birth, however 32 hours in there were complications and I needed to go to the hospital and she stayed right there with us.

Where there was joy and laughter, Cara was right there. When I was moving through the pain, Cara was right by my side aiding to me and making sure my environment reflected calmness and warmth. When I had moments of panic, she held space for me to feel. Cara is one of the most genuine, down to earth, loving, nurturing and present women that I got to share this experience with. She is competent, ready, gleeful with an attitude that'll get you through anything!! Thank you again so much for everything - we love you!

Cara is an incredible doula - I can't recommend her enough! She is very knowledgeable about pregnancy, labor, birth, and beyond. I appreciated how much she genuinely cared about my well being throughout the entire process. She continued to check in on me and provide support beyond what was provided in her services. During the labor and birth she was a strong advocate and she made an invaluable difference for me. I ended up having a vaginal delivery with no complications - my husband and I agree it wouldn't have ended that way without Cara's help and advocacy. My husband is also singing her praises and we will hire her again if there is another baby in our future. She truly made a huge difference in such a special moment of our lives! Thank you Cara!

Hiring Cara early on in my pregnancy was a crucial decision. She was extremely supportive the entire time, she's also charismatic, compassionate, knowledgeable, and understanding. Without her education classes and bedside support, I know my unplanned induction would have ended traumatically. Along with her help it resulted in the best way possible. I'm forever grateful! Having a doula was a necessity and I'm certain there wasn't a better fit than Cara for me!

She offered space for my to feel all the feelings, and encouraged me trust my intuition. Having Cara be a part of our birthing experience was the best decision my husband and I made. As first time parents, we were very much excited and after a lot of research we knew we wanted to try for an unmedicated birth. From our first interaction with Cara we knew we were in good hands.

She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, caring and most importantly supports which ever direction you'd like your labor and birth to go. Throughout my pregnancy and after she regularly checked in on us and encouraged us to ask questions and sent many helpful resources. She guided us through the experience, giving us the information we needed to make our own decisions with no judgement on our choices.

She was reliable when calling her during my early labor contractions. She guided me on exactly what to do. I ended up not experiencing water breakage or full labor on my own. I gave birth at a time (Covid) where only one person was allowed in the room which was my husband--but Cara was just a helpful call or text away to help him through my labor and delivery process. She is extremely conscientious of your partner/support person and personalizes the birthing experience to match your needs.

I ended up having to be induced but from there it was the unmedicated beautiful birth of my dreams. Happy to say I had a positive birth experience and Cara helped so much with making that happen for us.

We are so thankful for her and would recommend her over and over.
